  1. woohoo just got an email fom a guy in japan who will look for thoose parts for me:banana:
  2. get a set of cheap coilovers off ebay and just use them in the rear.....sell the front pair...look for some good 450lb ones!
  3. yeah i tought of maybe puttng an ER27 or a EA82turbo in my car...i think I saw a whitte RX with the 6 on teh board a long time ago
  4. some of the wagons rear shocks have a 3 postinion adjustable perch
  5. a couple years ago i emailed this guy in japan and we had some conversations back and forth......I was trying to find the wheels he had.. but the company stopped making them a long time ago anothe shot of his jdm rx
  6. if you look at this pic of a JDM RX you can see that the back of the headlight and the mounting is completely different than ours.. JDM SUBARU
  7. Does any one ahve any conections to get JDM parts???? I know im stretching it here but wouldn't mid some JDM wagon tailights&headlights....possibly EDM on the headlights.....as far as i know on japanese cars there is no side reflector on any cars tailights
  8. i THINK i saw somewhere a company selling a 2.4 crate motor thats like 600hp.......did anyone else every read about htis
  9. so sometime this year i am going to be looking for an impreza wagon for my next project...... my Q is if there is any differences between the normal version and the outback one? late 90's style i know the cosmetic diffs..... dual tone paint, hood scoop, etc..... and there is different suspension....anything else?
  10. ok first off struts......as far as the front struts go with the conversion there is NO aftermarket 2wd XT6 struts....i got a deal and bought a pair of OEM tokico form the stealership....you can however use impreza struts with very minor modification.....no the rear i bought a set of KYB gr2 struts.... now the springs.....are HP not H&R big difference.....you can do 2 things.......you can get a set of thoose coilovers and put them on all for corners OR if you use impreza struts in front....... try using a set of front impreza lowering springs ganked off a wrecked car.....the coilovers are linear=stiffer but harsh bouncy ride....... were as something like Eibach springs a progessive=more comfortable ride not as stiff. as for the rear the spock springs a linear so coilovers are a must for lowering and adjustment.....
  11. one of the things that looks like a cat is really a resonator
  12. didnt they make that loyale RS up to 93? it's a turbo
  13. there is a resinator on your exhaust up toward the Y pipe....you can cut that baby off and straight pipe it...plus I belive the turbos have 2 cats
  14. yeah I would be down for that...... i think you would maybe need to have a portland stereo shop donate their time and bring down an RTA to do DB&sound quality...........if the head powers decide to do this let me know and ill try to do my best to get something set up through some people
  15. On my n/a I noticed a power increase when I took the "silencer/snorkle/muffler" tube off!!!! to where I didn't noticed any more difference when I added a full intake
  16. mine are aimed slightltly out so their furset "reach"......... lights up the shoulders.....I m waiting to install my 8" rally lights in the front
  17. why don't you just take out the "snorkel"....it's a long piece of plastic in a U shape between the engine bay and fender......take that out and you'll notice a big difference + it will openly draw air from the inside the fender instead of the engine bay
  18. I sounds like the problem may be with the exhaust......I would check for an exhaust leak first just to rule it out.... my car got REALLY loud and clankiny a couple weeks ago..sounded liek my engine was detonating!! turned out that a 2 out of 3 bolts on my exhaust manifold were missing.
  19. you'll have to use a heilacoil to rethread that hole in the block.....
  20. get a imnpreza!!!!!!!!!!!! way more bolt-on suspension upgrades
