  4. i was reading on outback.org that the forester struts from 04-05 will actually help lift an outback wagon, so they may be able to work with the outback springs on a legacy or imp.....but not with the forester springs , as they would be a stretch. with the forester springs they say that the ride gets stiffer, so it may be comparable to the king spring swap. cheers, brian
  5. yeah, mud is outrageous these days. the last large poor we did was a machinery pit, that we made stem walls for the interior, backfilled behind, and vibration matted the interior of the stem walls. it was bout 25x30 and took almost 175 yds to fill.that was a trip. are you a finisher?or carpenter?cheers, brian

  9. thats funny, seeing pics of what i do......i am a cement finisher by trade.....i would have been the one running the bullfloat probably. it is always nice to have the mud down by the time the snow flies....because it sucks to do it in the snow! nice!but a crazy way to do drains......was there fall coming from the middle of the garage? cheers, brian
  10. dud4e, you can do it in the time it will take you to pull and replace....just reseal it , put anew timing belt and such on it.all for the same price as an entire motor cheers, brian
  11. damn, thats ugly...........what the hell are you thinking?i would never do anything close to that.geez , what a loser........:)looks good mang.cheers, brian
  12. just because it is clicking, does not mean anything..........it probably just needs some grease .... you will probably not find a NEW rear axle. just take everything apart, and clean it up really well.then regrease and put back together. i have driven on clicking rear axles for over a year before.before i regreased them, then ran them for another year or so...... just dive in,if you are gonna start breaking ************, you'd better learn to fix it. cheers, brian
  13. AND since this is pretty much closed now due to the fact of the beads working fine at 35mph......lets keep the pissing contest to a minimum........please. keep us updated when you do go on the highway..it will be interesting to know how well they perform in your vehicle. cheers, brian

  21. mental note...... sprinkle .45 shells about in front of garage tomorrow....************in *********************s..... sorry man.......
  22. yes.....it is,,,,that will break under stresses that would make your mom squint.(if she is anything like my mom, it does not take much to squint)...... cheers, brian i am telling you, just extending your shaft and clearancing your ujoints would work.it has been proven many a time.power steering or not......
  23. dude, josh.those pics are of a vlsd..........just because it has clutch type packs does not make it a clutch type lsd:).once again, springs,no springs. you are right, it is a sealed unit, but that does not mean you cannot take it apart.it utilizes the fluid to lock up as opposed to springs. sealed meaning that it does not mix with the other fluid of the diff. i'm just sayin.believe what you want to.cheers, brian
