1990 Loyale STALLING!!! each time you slow down
It's a device used for testing and diagnosing electrical circuts of most any kind. You can get a digital multimeter at Wal-Mart for like $10; that's the one I use.

Lifted Loyale--shifter pops out of gear
You'll need to trim the plastic around your shifter boot. Take off several millimeters there so it will shift into 1st/3rd/5th with out hitting it. I used a dremel and a stone grinding tip. If you have a smooth hand you can make it look like it's always been that way. I only use 5th if I'm going about 80mph on the freeway and I'm coming down a big hill.

I think a spark killed my fuel pump

trouble code 32/procedure for O2 replacement??
02 sensor; replace if you can. Don't sweat it if you can't. Pretty cheap item for a single wire generic O2 sensor.

1990 Loyale STALLING!!! each time you slow down
My initial guess here is Throttle Position Sensor and/or Idle Air Controle valve. The IAC might not be catching the idle signal from the TPS when you let off the pedal. Or the IAC is getting the idle signal but isnt opening intime... if at all? Or the TPS is sending false signals to the computer cuasing the bucking and stalling. Could be some other things however but you have to start somewhere I would start with a multimeter and testing both comonents. Proceedures and pages out of service manuals on this topic can be found using the search feature.

i cannot believe it!!!!
I could see how you might think that with all the 'big talk' about guns around here. However fear not fore it's all bark and no bite. Subaru isnt the solution to everything. Sometimes ppl think they need minivans. You still own a Subaru and are most welcome here.

Is there any way I can temporarily fix a CV joint boot?
temp fix for CV/DOJ boot = duct tape. clear away as mucn grease and grime on the outside of the boot as possible and wrap it on in excess. last time I did this I put dang near 1,000 miles on it that weekend. quite a few miles offroading in that span.

Request for Assistance: Code 11
You won't get an ignition pulse if the engine isn't running Sorry can't really help with smog testing. Lots of debate on here about it however; prolly find some good info using the search feature. Also should be able to find out proper proceedures for testing yoru EGR components and specifications to check against.

No Chilton?!!!
MorganM replied to Lawsonmh15's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXNo chilton? No problem! Damn books are about useless. If I had money I'd order FSM's as I needed them. However if you call around to dealerships and ask real nice they usually let you come and photocopy sections of their FSMs that you need for the task at hand. How about Alldata? I hear they are a pretty good resource.

Minnesota Install and Grill Night
http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2851 I counted 20 Subaru's at one point but I'm sure there were a few off to the side of the building I couldnt see. Everyone chipped in and brought food, drinks, coolers, and fix'ns. Great time had by all and everyone was respectfull. Lots of pics in the link above. Big thanks to Nathan of Mineke in Shakopee MN for inviting us to have the run of his shop for an evening. Lots of repairs and upgrades were done. Can't wait for the next one!

good place/brands for new dizzy cap/wires
Last cap, rotoer, and plug wires I bought were by Wells. Toyota trusts them enough to use them for their igintion components. I figure it's good'nuf for my Subaru. Purchased at Autozone.

SJR Liftkit?
Pardon me if I'm jumping the gun Scott but I am very curiouse! I saw your kit before WCSS7 on your website and in your gallery I think. Loved what I saw so far on there. Then saw the pics of you at WCSS7. Did you get it dirty on the trails? Did ppl seem to like it or were they skeptical? I love the casted logos; very custom.
