  1. Man, I never had those headaches with the P.K. Davis kit.
  2. We had the pump replaced on the 2.2 (Ellen's old car) at about 130,000 miles just as PM.
  3. Maybe you could forward your powdercoater to Mudrat as that is what he claims is the hold up on making good his promises.
  4. I got a PM that cleared it up. He appears to have settled outstanding debts.
  5. Sorry to hear the. Best wishes to her and you.
  6. Welcome back. You've been gone a while. I don't want to start any wars, open old scabs, point any fingers (as I wasn't involved in any thing) but it seems like people were trying to get in touch with you a while back. Are all old accounts settled? I only ask as I may need some bumpers in the future and I don't want to end up where I currently am now.
  7. I once pulled a F150 off of the mudflats with my Gen 1 Brat as high tide was rolling in, only to find out it had 800 pounds of illegally-caught salmon in the bed.
  8. Perhaps it's a way of Toyota controlling the growth of Subaru. (Throw a little water on the fire, so to speak.)
  9. That was Snowman. Congrats on your "newfound" car.
  10. Props to Eric for posting this announcement. It says volumes about the responsibility of this group.
  11. With a 1,000 watt inverter, you could run a small compressor (like my pancake compressor) to do on-the-spot repairs.
  12. Don't get me wrong, Mark. I like the way it rides right now. I'm just looking for some snow clearance for winter.
  13. But with a Toyota truck, you're all done doing that. Call Ritchie if you're not comfortable with this simple operation.
  14. Depends on what you're using them for. I run a set of Cooper STT's in the 14" size on my Brat for off-roading.
  15. Feel free to post some pics when you get it done.
  16. You might consider the route I took (as per my PM).

  18. Try richie at SIRS (Superior Import Repairs) in Portland.
  19. Congrats on the new purchase and welcome to the board.
  20. That's about a month early for me. I'll be in town on the 17th of November. Going to a medical conference with my wife in Rochester.
  21. John should be on his way to AZ to pick up an SVX he bought there. See his post on the SVX.net board.

  23. Iguess I don't need to give you that 1600 manual then.
  24. Kelly, the Haul Road is pretty desolate and the only traffic is hunters and semi drivers. Pretty unforgiving in the event of a breakdown. Little to no services and deadly cold in the winter. Premixed anti-freeze, a plug kit and a small compressor, a can of fix-a-flat, a good sleeping bag... are necessities. Also, a good thermos for high test coffee (or a whisperlite and an espresso maker) is a help.
