  1. Welcome to the board. Put it in one part at a time.
  2. Sorry to hear of your car's death. Torxxx had it right $2500.
  3. If the lock itself is fine, start looking for connecting links (rods) and look in the bottom of the door. If anything has fallen off or broken, that's where it'll be. Welcome to the board.
  4. Caleb, that looks pretty clean and easy to follow. Nice job.
  5. Thanks, I'll be using this in the near future.
  6. It's a bad addiction to have.
  7. Wow, man. Relax. It sounds like you have some issues. There is a search function if we're not fast enough to suit your time schedule.
  8. Excellent write up. I don't think this is the board where we wantto be too concerned with g/sp/punc. problems. The facts are top notch.
  9. I like how you shot the pic from very low to create that bigger-than-life effect.
  10. Post some detailed pics when you get it all together.
  11. Will send in the Spring when it's all cleaned up and my mods are done.
  12. And Mick makes some very good quality decals that grace my Brat. Buy from him with confidence and support the USMB.
  13. I'll wait for a P.K. Davis model - tried and true, made in the U.S.
  14. Is there a lift kit for Legacy model years available?
  15. Mostly, be patient and don't try to force anything. Make sure threads line up first - no crossthreading allowed here.
  16. Check legacy777's website www.surrealmirage.com/subaru/engine.html and get the scoop on reading trouble codes. It could just be an O2 sensor.
  17. Some things we just don't want to know.
  18. Contact P K Davis (Ozzified) or Mudrat.
  19. Just used PB Blaster on my O2 sensor - it came right out. But for really stubborn problems, I use Yield. That's some really good stuff.
  20. Sorry to get your hopes up. All I have are shafts, no u joints. Sorry.
  21. Are you talking about the little 8 or 9 inch piece that connects the steering column to the steering rack? If so, I have 2 of them. One from my 83 Brat when I did the lift kit installation, and onother from an 87 Brat that was parted out. If this is what you need, let me know. You can have it for shipping.
  22. You can go to the dealer and get the cost of new replacement parts and the cost of a mechanic to install them for you. Submit that to the insurance agent and then do some J/Y diving and put it back together yourself with an upgraded security system in it. I received an e-mail the other day talking about someone being able to take your vin # off the dash and have the dealer cut a key for your car without proof of ownership. The remedy, said the e-mail, was to drop a 3 x 5 card or a piece of black plastic tape over the vin #.
