  1. Nice score. If you run across another one....

Talk about headaches. Good luck. You'd be best off talking with Mudrat directly.
  3. I need the trim on the inside of the door posts (the frame, not the doors themselves) in gray. Mailed to 99567. Thanks
  4. Glad to hear it. Just a heads up - my friend and fellow board member is moving to your area in April. Sisu is his name. Good guy.
  5. Seems as if you have one that runs, it makes sense to run that one until the wheels fall off, then decide whether to use it or the other as parts.
  6. You got a smoking deal. If you're just replacing the belt (no pullies or tensioners) you can probably get it done for under $500. But extra parts add up in a hurry. Better to buy a repair manual and do it yourself.
  7. There's nothing wrong with some fair trade competition as long as there's no patent infringement(or intellectual property theft).
  8. Welcome to the board. There are several members from NY, but most are upstate. Just across the border, though, you'll find Moosens in CT. He's a guru of old school but can probably point you in the right direction. Good luck.
  9. Congrats. Keep it up, make us proud.
  10. Welcome to the board. Not too up on newer models other than the obvious downfall - price!
  11. My son's car - 1992 Legacy Wagon - starts fine in the cold. Cranks up and goes. When he comes home from school at lunch, he parks in the garage and an hour later when he gets ready to go back to school, his car has a difficult time starting. It stutters, the check engine light comes on and it takes almost a full minute of grinding to get it to catch. It's the2.2 mpfi and he knows better than to pump the gas, so what needs to be done? I m planning to swap out the spark plugs and air filter in a few minutes. What else?
  12. Have you checked fuses lately?
  13. Have fun with them. I'm not up on specific years of wagons, but if you look at the motor markings, you'll see either ea81 or ea82. If they are boththe same ( and my hunch is that they are both ea82s), the axles are interchangable. If not, no.
  14. Ed, this would be a great thing to schdule in conjunction with the next WCSS. Ya think?

    Confirmed - John (Mudrat)

Actually, I'd bet they'd be impressed.
  17. So right you are Brando. Over 50 Subaru cabs in Anchorage.
  18. Looks flashy - might as well add some bling-bling while you're at it. Hope you have the HP to back it up.
  19. For what it's worth, or if it helps, I'm planning on getting an extra set of rims just for dedicated off-road tires. Since I use my Brat as a daily driver, it makes good sense not to wear out mudders running back and forth to work. It doesn't take much time to swap out wheels when I need to get out and about.
  20. 1. Go buy a good manual - FSM is probably best. 2. Contact local "experts" in case you get stuck - Calebz and Legacy 777 are both excellent contacts in your area 3. Have fun
