  1. Welcome to the board. Fine ride you chose.
  2. Not a bad axiom. Then block it with a piece of wood or a cinder block, or a jack stand....
  3. A cheap hydrolic jack from Schuck's or wherever can be had for less than $20, and will come in handy the next time you have a flat tire. It should be able to lift your car up enough to reach the plug no matter what your size is.
  4. Welcome to the board. There are a couple of board members down there. Check around.
  5. That's not bad, but Cooper STT's are about 5 bucks a tire more.
  6. It's a miracle in a can, a hope and a prayer, an extra smile from above, it's the answer when the question isn't even formed yet.
  7. I'm not sure. I might have to drive a friend's car back. I'll let you know.
  8. Torxxx, you are too mch.
  9. It's a sick sound of hundreds of dollars flying out of your wallet.
  10. Frankly, I thought the movie was a scream as it fairly portrayed many students I have seen and curently see in high school. The old notion that life imitates art is true here. Those who hated it mat have been too close to it to appreciate the comic genious of it. (P.S. Vote for Pedro.)
  11. Is that part of the Colonial Mechanic's Collection? If so, when are you going to add the matching couch/creeper and loveseat/ padded counter stool?
  12. First, go buy a decent repair manual. Plugs and wires are a good start. Look at Legacy777's website for good info on new gen fine tuning.
  13. Bringme your old one (I only need the two ends) and I'll give you the one I have sitting in my garage. PM me for my phone # if you are interested.
  14. The body builder is named Rex Kwan Do. I saw the movie once, but remembered the name because of the Brat.
  15. Welcome to the board. Lots of good people and info available here.
  16. Welcome to the board. There are a lot of experts on the new gen side of the board. You'll discover a wealth of info.
  17. Welcome to the board. You certainly picked the right state to have your addiction in.
  18. 83 Brat with 14' pugs and a 3" lift = 24 mpg - I live in AK so I only do highway driving. I hate Anchorage driving so I avoid it as much as possible.
  19. I'll be up in March 4,5,and 6 for the Tanana Wrestling Tournament, but I don't know if I'll have the subbie. Drop me a phone # by PM and I'll call to get together.
  20. Welcome to the board. Try visiting legacy777's website for info about your problem. He might have info there to help you out.
  21. The older geberation roos are notorious for leaks, but the newer ones aren't. With the type of mileage you post, it's not a surprise, but you should be able to stem the flow.
  22. Hey fellow Greatlander, welcome to the board. Hunt out Torxxx and introduce yourself, and next time you're headed toward Anchortown, give us a heads up and we'll arrange a meet and greet.
