You thermostat is stuck open. Also i bet youve noticed a drop in gas mileage. nipper -
Now i played with this. I forgot how it turned out. But the spedo is made up of two parts. There is the spedo head, and the board which it plugs into. The 140mph spedo has a different electrical connection then the 120. When you get the gauges, get the pigtail off the back of the cluster also. It is a two wire plug in the center of the back of the cluster. Just have him snip it. When you hook it up to your car, you use that pigtail and it should work. Wire it in temporarily by striping the wires, inserting them in your connector and taping them up. you wont hurt anything. Then i am 90% sure it will work. nipper

Misfire is either ignition wires or the coil packs. If your engine is new you really dont need a valve adjustment. i never get mine adjusted (never seems to make a differnce). It is possible that there are hairline cracks in the coil towers. This is a common problem it seems and is usally fixed with replaced coil packs. nipper

You can always follow the other rule, turn up the stereo. The only other thing that can be done is the oil drained, geares dyed, and check for how the gears contact. Now let me ask you this. Is the clicking a 1:1 ratio, 2:1 ratio or a 4:1 ratio in refernce to wheel speed. nipper
