  1. Everything is pointing to that rear wheel. I have a almost 3 inch lift where all I needed was camber bolts for the front.
  2. I know about the assemgly grease :-p I jut wanted to know what I am up against. I really have found out that my back injury has made me dramatically weaker, so i have to farm it out. Or maybe another 5 years
  3. Stop that now. All four tires have to match otherwise you will kill your awd. They have to be within 1/8 inch circumfance of each other. If you are doing this put the FWD fuse in (if an auto) to deactivate the AWD. It sounds like you may have some tire scrubbing from the bad wheel bearing not being able to hold the tier in position. It also may may be cupped.
  4. Just curious, I have two hoses and four clamps too The justy has an oil Tstat on it, not Blu.
  5. Cabooaroo - what is the cost of a replacement. I think the noisey rear one I have had for 5 years may want to be replaced.
  6. Im series with the heat exchanger in the radiator. YOu still need some warmth for the fluid in winter. I usually put it in before the raditor but it doesnt really matter. If you live someplace where it gets uber cold then a coolant thermostat would be needed.
  7. The justy's pitch stopper (dog bone) is there just for decoration right now. They are available from subaru for the pricey sum of 188.00 !!!!! Can someone give me the inside dimensions of stoppers from 80's subaru. I am looking for the inside dia at the bushings (metal sleeve) and the overall length. Alos if it is adjustable. Anyone know of any universal pitch stoppers?
  8. What GD said. Clutch judder can come from the flywheel, as it really doesnt take much to make it judder.
  9. Not the issue, and if you use it too many times when the fuel is low you can start damaging fuel system parts.
  10. They woiuld work here as we have really tough bushes.
  11. I am going between the IAC vavle and the gas cap. Ever smell fuel? I know Blu was acting odd when gas got low and a new cap solved it, but I also smelled gas sometimes.
  12. all that shifting in a 1200 rpm range can get awfully exhausting if your talking diesel.
  13. But we have tourches, tube benders and tube. Lets do it.
  14. Hrmmm looking at the dates i might be able to do it, not sure. Hopefully the Justy would be on tthe road how cool would that be
  15. I'm not sure what the issue is here. You just cut the leads off the old wires and crimp them onto the new ones, or am I missing something. And don't blame the kid. Being someone that cataloged these things, all aftermarket cares about is length, gauge, and number of pigtails (connections).
  16. Well since it is an intermittent problem it will be tough. I am thinking the gas cap is bad or something in the evap system. The evap puge valve is activated when the car is started for a few seconds. This might be why on restart it starts fine. What happens if you fill the tank at 1/2 for a few times in a row. I think the angle of the car may just be a fluke. It sounds like a fuel delivery issue to me now.
  17. Stop with the water treatment already. There is no water in your tank, period. If you have ethanol in your gas already it is the same thing. Do me a favor, loosen your gas cap and run it down. Lets see if it is a venting issue.
  18. No it is not normal. A ocassional jerk or a growl for about 5 feet after parking the car in a spot is normal. This is the time it takes the puter to figure out your not stuck just backing out of a spot. Transmission fluid flush 1st. If that doesnt do it a bottle of transX and cross your fingers.
  19. Find another shop. Be thankful they did not work on your car, as only a lazy or poorly skilled shop would just rely on the CEL alone. Your mileage is low so it is a bit goofy to find out. Replace your PCV valve, as they can cause goofy issues. Possabilities is a sticking Idle control valve or a flacky knock sensor. was the car hot or cold when it happened.
