It will effect the engine, only after you shift. You will get a rich mixture after every shift which will cause your engine to studder. Also while you are stopped at a red light your engine might not want to idle. But, you do get the cool "Swooosh" sound. Its not worth it, what you need is not a blow-off valve, but a bypass valve.

After plating my frame and repairing some damage near the steering gearbox, I felt confident enough to take the 4Runner out and get it dirty. Had a friend get ahold of me and invite me to the ORV park with him & his buddies. We have had nothing but rain since the end of December, and this last weekend was our first real break of sunlight... made the ORV park real muddy, still alot of fun There is a pretty nasty hill-climb that in the summer is usually tame, but when wet can break axles (other guy in our crew learned the hard way). I opted for the safe route since I had my girlfriends 11yr old with me Here is our buddy Kurt, trying to get up a step... he's locked front & rear, and ended up snapping a birf in this spot. Nobody was able to make it up that step. I tried, and so did a few jeeps after we were rolling out. After the hill climb, I decided to try some new rock gardens they are putting in the park. Crawling over rocks really sucks when you have 32psi in your tires, and they are gummed up with snotty & slippery mud. Before the end of the day, we headed over to a crevasse that they are starting to fill with rock. Dry, its alot of fun... wet, its a mud-bath. Our buddy Kurt decided to go through a few times with his 38" swampers and churn it up real good for us Then it was ready for me. I decided to run down the crevasse and let gravity help me After I went down, i said "eff it!" and turned around, ran the entire crevasse back up Was a dirty & fun day!! Now I have to compete with mud when it comes time to replace my shackles.... but I think it was worth it

Dude that is one of the sickest custom bumpers I have seen on a EA82 Subaru in a very long time! I love the square tubing, and your angles look correct. Clean it up and coat it with some spray on bed liner, and it will look like it came off the showroom floor

Let us know. I cannot afford to upgrade my shafts, so I am just going to carry a set of spares when I lock my front end. And, unless I can find a deal on CL like you, that might be a while.

Dude... drive your car to a gas station and use pump gas. Also, change all your filters.

Are you running the stock shafts & birfs up front?

Yeah, i have seen them. They are about as expensive as a beadlock kit, which is where I was leaning. Regardless... beadlocks are not necessary. I feel confident I can air down to about 6psi with these rims. And I have everything I need for onboard air, so breaking a bead isnt a huge concern. The money will be better spent on a front locker.

I rebuilt my EA82T in my RX using a SPFI block & pistons. It was a great upgrade, way more ooomph pre-boost. This was done with an intercooler and 7psi. I sold the car shortly thereafter, and from what I heard the engine blew up.

You should take both racks out, and lay them side by side. I believe the EA82 rack is going to be wider, and cause you some problems.

Simple answer to a simple question. Yes, that car is very rare. Expecially in the condition it is in.

cant afford beadlocks that are DOT. These swampers are almost trash. I have some 35x14.50 TSL's on my 4Runner right now that are in much better shape, and they will be going on these rims. I will probably save these tires for spares.
