  1. The wagons still got life in her yet. I will be using the wagon for the wheelin trip on the 17th Dont know when we'll be pulling parts from it. Kinda waiting for Jibs to get the title for the next project. -Brian
  2. I didnt say they were like mine :-p Im aware the 2 are different. But I havent seen a set of those rims in real life, just on the web. The rims I have, ive never seen either before the day i got them. Got any pictures of your set mounted? -Brian
  3. $70 is a good deal. I usually end up spending $80 to $90 on a set of rims from the junkyard. They are pretty rare, havent seen many sets around. -Brian
  4. Yeah im thinking of heading back up there the 17th to grab some parts from a XT6 at the yard. A friend of mine wants to come to get some parts for his legacy. Then after the yard, im thinking we should hit the trails. Me and JB didnt get to do much last weekend. -Brian
  5. Im sticking with the 13" alloys I have. I have to get some new lugs for them, and im thinking of having them polished... but yeah. No 5lug and no 15" rims for now. And, probably the cheapest 205/50 or 195/50's i can find. If I can find any. -Brian
  6. Went on ebay and found a GFB Manual Boost Controller for $40 shipped so I jumped. The last MBC I got was some home depot made deely with a spring and a ball bearing. It didnt work at all. I chucked it and installed the GFB today. I bent the mounting bracket 90 degrees and used a self tapping screw to attatch the mount. The thing works great. It has a needle valve or something, not like the spring. My car was running 5psi since my intercooler went in. As soon as I put this MBC in I adjusted it to 7psi, and took a nice long drive to the gas station. Then there I adjusted it to about 9psi and im more than satisfied. Now all i have to do is get my downpipe installed. next week... TIRES! -Brian
  7. Tony. I still have your webpage setup at http://twb.usmb.net If you can get some more pictures of your current work, I can add them and we can work on that page alittle more. Prices are a must -Brian
  8. Wow, welcome back. That was short. -Brian
  9. No bushings. Any idea if Napa carries them? See you around WJM. -Brian
  10. SWEET!!! I still have those 2 pumps you gave me sitting in a box. Waiting to be mounted to my next rig. Im torn between a couple options. Kinda keeping it on the DL but i should have something wheelin ready by next spring. -Brian
  11. Needs to be replaced Jeremy. It ran great but the front end is fuct. CV's are bad, cant hardly steer either. -Brian
  12. Subarus warp their front rotors very easily. Mostly becuase people set their parking brake while their rotors are still hot. Our cars lock the front brakes with the e-brake, and if you set the e-brake with hot rotors, they will cool and warp with pressure being applied to only one section. Good thing they're cheap tho. I can usually find new rotors on ebay for like $20 a pair. Or Napa for about $30each -Brian
  13. Run some carb cleaner and then use that bottle of "guarantee'd to pass" stuff. I did that and my car passed (after failing the week prior). -Brian
  14. STock boost... but i got home today to a package from UPS. Its my Manual Boost Controller, so I will crank it up to about 9psi tomorrow. Lets hope I dont blow anything up! Went and wheeled the Wagon today. AHHHH Good times! Hope your in a subaru, and hope its a wheelin subie cause I got some plans on the horizon and next year I will definatly be making a trip up there to wheel the Oregon Trails again. -Brian
  15. Drove up to Reno to hang with Jibs and see my wagon. Threw a battery and an alternator in her and went for a little cruise around the mountains. Couldnt really do much since Jibs has no reverse and no low range (no low + 28" swampers = suck!) but we were able to get dirty and it felt great to be in a lifted subaru again. Here's a teaser pic.. you can see the rest here: http://gallery.usmb.net/album41 Next time we hope to have a camcorder. Jibs REALLY needs to get his tranny from John so we can do some real wheelin! -Brian
  16. Just got one today from the junkyard. PM me if you are really interested. Shipping will be alot, but can be acomplished. -Brian
  17. Make sure your spinning it the right way. Things can get confusing when your laying on your back. THe filter shouldnt be that hard to remove. -Brian
  18. It wasnt subaru... it was Suzuki. The engine in the Justy isnt really a FHI design. -Brian
  19. Neither, its to support the head rests that accompany your jump seats. If the seats were removed, you can remove those metal jobbies. -Brian
  20. Dunno what the plan is as of yet. I know we wanna get some wheelin done, and we want to hit the junkyard. I am hoping to be in Reno by 10am, and be on the road home by 6pm. Will probably do the yard in the morning, do the wheelin in the afternoon. -Brian
  21. Forget rear speakers. Just get bigger and louder front speakers and you will never know they're not there. I put 230watt 6x8's in my doors. and 400watt 10" subs in the rear. 450watt amp for the fronts, 600watts for the rear box... and i dont miss my rear speakers at all. That and stop playing Hanson in the coupe!! -Brian
  22. TONY!!!! DUDE!!! Where you been? Glad you havent fallen off the side of the earth. New ride: Under the hood: I still have my lifted wagon as well. It hasnt been wheelin in over a year, but Im supposed to go out tomorrow and do some wheelin in Reno (where its been stored for the past couple months). STay around! or shoot me a PM, or an email... dont be a stranger. -Brian
  23. You would be the 1st in the US to have done it. -Brian
  24. Talked to matt and he will be at work till 6. -Brian
