  1. Make sure the wiring for the gauge is correct. I believe there is a plug on or near the thermostat housing which the temp gauge uses. I could be wrong, its been a while since Ive been under a EA81. JB, if you wanna add some custom gauges, we could convert your Oil & Temp to manual gauges. They are 100% correct 100% of the time. The gauges in the stock subies are crap IMO. Maybe in your best interest. Plus, when we wire your off-road lights, we can wire your fan to a relay and they can run all the time... shouldnt hurt. But as Dave would say "keep it stock" so we can try to trace down the problem on my next visit. Whenever that'll be. -Brian
  2. get some new NGKs and throw out the bosch. Gap them to .44mm -Brian
  3. Do you have an extra set Will? My RX could REALLLLY use one. -Brian
  4. He has gained employment with the dealer, but that doesnt excuse him from his prior engagements. EXPECIALLY WHEN WE HAVE PAID HIM IN FULL ALREADY! Wait... capslock off. PAID IN FULL OVER 2 YEARS AGO!!! Oh wait... caps lock off again. -Brian
  5. I can tell you not to buy a bumper from him -Brian
  6. Wow forester springs and struts get you 4" of lift???? Since when? -Brian
  7. First off... how are you going to get 4" of lift? And 2nd, if you lift it 4" and you fit larger tires... you are most definatly going to loose gas milage. The Kumho are probably the best for the money. You could go with a superswamper in 28". With 4" of lift you should be able to run them with minor fender trimming. -Brian
  8. No problem Subi... not sure if I'll be going either. Turns out this meet was posted on NASIOC and Iclub, so there will be too much testosterone for me to handle. I may show up tho, just to race. -Brian
  9. Man that car is awesome looking! If you can, try to get some info on those rims and how they are fitted. I say you keep the car, just put another EA81 in it unless you can find someone to slap a EJ20 or 22. -Brian
  10. Corky, i dont think you have seen the thread im speaking of. -Brian
  11. Get a weber for your EA81 at the very least. And here is a write-up on the rear disc conversion: http://www.subaru4wd.net/old/New/mods/reardisk.html -Brian
  12. Yeah, i recently posted on a thread there about a mini-meet here in Sac this week. By the responces I got, I dont think i'll be attending. Sucks since a couple of my friends will be there. -Brian
  13. You can get rear disc brakes from almost any turbo EA82 Subaru. They are a direct bolt on, and there is no need for any modification to the braking system. Also, there is a napa part # for some brake lines, you maybe able to find them in steel. And I do not know of any manufacturer of strut bars for Brats, but it shouldnt be hard to come up with one. -Brian
  14. RPM's webpage I believe. Race Place Motorsports is what RPM stands for... might want to google it. I know they have a page, just dont have it handy. -Brian
  15. RPM indoor racetrack!! Print a 2-for-1 coupon and lets GO RACING!! I guess the Impreza kiddies are gonna have a mini-meet, and ive been invited by a couple friends. I need some old-school to show up so im not the only one. PM me for directions or something if you need to. Racing will cost $25 for each race... members only pay $20. -Brian
  16. DAmn you guys with lives.... Well, i still gotta come up there to do some work on the wagon, so dont make yourselfs TOO busy!! -Brian
  17. OOO SNOW RUN!! By that time, i hope to have the wagon dismantled and the project complete. -Brian
  18. Ah... well, it wasnt russ. Cant remember who. Maybe you said something else and I thought they would suck. I dunno. Im about to do a 5 lug swap, so I will have some 2WD XT front struts available soon. They are even KYB GR2's -Brian
  19. Yeah, E it'd be great to do some wheelin with you!! But you gotta drive your brat, and you gotta wheel it as well. Jeremy... im sure we can find a free weekend somewhere in September. If not oh well. -Brian
  20. My subie didnt like it when I drove into a granite rock. Rock was only exposed about 18", but I wasnt paying attention on a trail and it smacked my passenger side lower control arm. Hit it just right to bend the snot out of it, and caused alot of headache ever since. Other than that, the subie has taken all the beatings Ive given it. Never had one airborn but ive seen plenty of em get off the ground. Cant say I've seen every single on land without problem though. -Brian
  21. From what i hear the coilover setup sucks and isnt worth the adjustablility (i believe it was Caleb who told me ) The 2WD XT will net you most of the parts you need. -Brian
  22. Nobody has any part #'s or refferences to EA82 steering bushings? -Brian
