  1. To install the fonts, find your "font" folder which is located inside the "Control Panel". Just copy the .ttf files to that folder, and it should show you a window that sais "installing font" After that, the programs should recognize the fonts. If not, reset the computer and then it will. -Brian
  2. D'OH!!! I forgot this year was leap year. Got my vacation aproved, but need to add Feb 29th into the mix. -Brian
  3. I used to run a Subaru off-road club when i lived in Alaska. It was called ORSA (off-road Subaru's of Alaska). It never went anywhere except for a webpage. The color logo looks great. -Brian
  4. Thanks Dave... and goodluck. For all those who dont know... Mendo Dave is the one who hooked me up. His friend is the one who had this car, and from what I can gather he's the 2nd owner... 1st owner being a relative of his. Dave also was kind enough to store the car at his house for the past 3 months until I could make room for it here. Thank Peter again for me, and let him know the next time he see's this car, it will look like it just rolled off the factory line.... (hopefully). -Brian
  5. I like that logo as well, but i think it resembles the HP logo too much with the way that mountain is. Great artwork. -Brian
  6. I think I spent about $20 for fuel, and also got some air freshener's... other than that, the car was free. Just had to drive it home. -Brian
  7. Paul. Tony is located in Southern Oregon. I'll be visiting him soon to pickup my new front bumper. he's the one who built my rack as well. http://twb.usmb.net to see his line of accessories -Brian
  8. Tony, did you replicate the ones you have on your turbo wagon??? Or did you just send them to him. They look exactly like yours. Cant wait to get mine attatched to the front of the Wagon. -Brian
  9. Yeah, thats the hollow. Can you post your Solid font? Ive been looking for one for a while. -Brian

  15. Key Points to Alaska: 1) Hardly any people. Keeps the Stupidity factor down. 2) the place is HUGE!! There's always someplace to go to hide, if your being followed or tracked. 3) There are no billboards. They are banned from Alaska, and should be banned from every other state as well. 4) Its beautiful. You wont find another place in the US like it. 5) Fishing and Hunting cant be beat. 6) Once your a citizen, the state pays you aprox $1500 a year in PFD. Downsides: 1) Its a 4 day drive to any other state in the US 2) Alcoholism is a HUGE factor. 3) Cost of living is ALOT higher. The $.99 taco at taco bell here, is $1.39 in Alaska... and the $.39 Taco from Del Taco here, is... well, there are no Del Taco's in Alaska. Or Jack in the Box, or Carls Jr. 4) Daylight/night time. Your head will get screwed up in the 1st few years with the daylight and night cycles of summer/winter. 5) Speaking of Summer/Winter... those are the only 2 seasons Alaska has. Unless you want to count 2 or 3 stages of Winter, and 1 Stage of summer. 6) and last but not least.... ITS FRIKKEN COLD!!! Expect -20 with -40 windchills between December to Febuary. That's about it. Any other questions? -Brian
  16. I dont drink, but thanks for the offer. Im always down to kick it tho. -Brian
  17. What does the pinion gear do? And how would i know if it was broken? The tranny fluid looked real creamy. I will have to drain it and replace it. I have a lead on a Gen1 D/R Tranny, and the bellhousing that will mate it to a EA81. Not sure if I wanna swap all that in, or keep it stock... but its a possiblilty -Brian
  18. I grew up in Alaska. I wouldnt recommend moving there if you've never been there before. I would say visit for a few weeks, then make the desicion. As far as subaru's, there is no other state that has as many subaru's per person than Alaska. But all the old ones are rusted out. The cost of living is higher, and job opportunities are slim. If you want to work on a fishing boat, or in a oil field, then your in luck. -brian
  19. What impressed me was the fact I could keep up with NV Zeno the entire way home. Without a speedo, i have no idea how fast we had that lil 1600 going. -Brian
  20. He's right... ... that is a 360. Nice find. -Brian
  21. Yeah, thats decided I'll never get rid of my lifted wagon. The hardest part about restoring it is getting it past California emissions. The exhaust is shot, and the PVC valve must be bad too, cuase it has a hard time keeping the oil inside the crankcase. -Brian
  22. Arived back at home around 6:30pm today with the new project. She's a 1978 DL Wagon, but almost fully loaded. Small problems consist of non operational Speedo, Blower motor (or heat for that matter). No FWD, driving in 4WD on the rear diff right now. Pictures can be seen here: http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo14 Its got a fair amount of rust, but nothing that can't be removed. Not sure if I want to restore it or just get it registered and use it as the new daily driver. -Brian
  23. Yeah, Muir did publish the HTKYSA book. Sais so in that highlighted passage -Brian
  24. I like the hatch idea... not sure about the font tho. -Brian
  25. Ive heard that story from 2 other people. From what i hear, it was a blast. I do remember the trailer bearing. That was ugly. -Brian
