. Each time we go out ita a different bunch, Ive gone out with subarus, Toyotas, a Trooper, and a Jeep, next time out looks like a Tracker with a Isuzu Diesel might make it -
2 years ago I looked into that idea to offer in a kit, decided against it as it would require precesion machine work and welding, if I was to do my own one off I might take a secound set of struts , and cut the bottom off and use that bottom as a extension , might be able to slit the tube and clamp it over the stock strut , careful as you wouldnt want this to fall apart at 70 miles hour , comparing the EA and EJ the EA has more room for a big tire, the EJ bolts at the bottom, easy to lift with flat bar, the EA at the bottom is a round shaft in a clamped hole , more difficult
-
anyone interested in building there own , I can provide you with any spec you want from my experiance . no cost
-
the 3 bolt bar looks very doable in the front, now the rear the strut is offset , which causes some rim clearance issues, .. I have done a 2" lift on the strut tops just by cuttting 2x2 tubing , you could probably get by if you then redrilled the strut flange to fix the camber,

Ive got a EJ at the shop all tore up Ive been thinking of making a extension at the bottom of the strut it has 2 bolts ,If you move the bottom mt to the top hole you gain 3"?? , then add some bar stock with 3 holes in it to catch the extra hole , thats the basic Idea, also this will allow for a over 27" tire , by next year I would like to offer a 4"

If it was me I would go 27 SSR or TSL , no lift of 1-2" lift bash and trim, that way its road legal tougher tire then ATV and alot lower gear then 31

this helps.. rev it way up and drop the clutch, dont ride the clutch, this gives a little more power for those steep hill climbs, smaller the tires the better gearing also , we will plan a trip to walker once your cars up to it and I have something to take SJR:banana: -
