  1. the specs on the lengths and travel look good to me, what do the mounting ends look like?
  2. so if I understand this correctly, between the front and rear drives there is a LSD of sorts ,anyone have detailed picture of the insides of that trans? so thats why its acting this way, now this car is for my wife ,wont see any hard offroading ( sure heee hee ) , today I will swap out the Hud and start working out any other bugs it might have its been sitting for 6 mos , its a carbeb engine , now if there any way to beef up that mid clutch or will this be just a stay on the pavement type of car.
  3. I had this Idea on the disty , you know those boat trailer taillights, they are like a drinking glass turned upsidown with all the wiring up inside , well what if I did that with the disty put a container over it with all the wires coming out the bottom , even semi seal it, could even run a little air presure into it from a compressor or a fan, that way water couldnt get to it and if it wanted to the positive presure would keep it away . another concern will all the sensors work under water? Im not even sure what sensors are even used and where they are
  4. its got a small orange button on the side of the shifter, no dual range, I think its 3 speed
  5. picked up a 85 GL wagon with a automatic and 4 wheel drive the front drivers wheel hub is stripped , it wont drive in 2wd but will drive in 4wd , but you have to take off slow to keep the hub from slipping, my question is , is there a differentual between the front and rear axles built into the trans. or is there something esle wrong with the trans?
  6. besides the snorkel , what have you done to that car to handle the water?

  9. heres a little info on the place I grabbed off the net, Location Name: Reiter pit Type of Riding Place: Trails Location (closest city): Gold Bar, WA usa Just past Monroe Details: Riding is mostly round rock and gravely trails. Forrest surrounding. How to get there:From I-5 at Everett follow hwy 2 east for a long ways until you reach Sultan. Keep going east and turn north onto Reiter rd. Follow the road until it takes a hard left. Don't go left take the road that continues straight until you see a gravel parking area on the left. You will know you are there when you see the no ORV on roadway signs. Park anywhere out of the way
