  2. what does the EA82 platform cover ? I think its like 85-94 wagons, sedans, and loyale, what else does it cover does it cover RX , the reason I ask if a lift kit for a wagon will fit a RX thanks guys SJR
  3. heres some details to consider when making a pattern , also make it over size 1/4" per foot to allow for metal shrink
  4. if you send me a pattern made out of wood or dense foam I could cast out of alluminum your part
  5. if you need a custom adapter I may be able to help
  6. OK settled on a date will be Saturday the 11th midday, Im liking the Hamilton pit idea , not to far away ,we will see on where we go , I will be bringing the whole family , as far a Rieter pit maybe that could be the run in march or the end of feb, I want to go there but not the Birthday run, Andy maybe by end of feb we-ll have that hatch lifted. I will bring my R/C 10 GT Radio controlled Gas truck should be a spot to run it, Andy bring your RC Brat, should be a fun time SJR
  7. on board air .i read up on this for the old york compressor 70s - 80s amc, ford others , anyone ever do it with a stock subaru pump? does it need like a inline oiler in the intake and a filter seperator on the outlet ? I will be coverting mine soon
  8. My prediction that given time a new system will be set up and thay will come back with built it system perameters which will make most people happy, myself I enjoyed them , just didnt care for the ones that took up alot of space requiring you to scroll down to get to the meat of a thread, mods keep up the good work , heres my car ( not really) ha just for fun  :horse:
  9. ok I will check with Marlene and see if 11 the day to go have a good trip , yaba daba doo
  10. thats just past monroe , sounds like a all dayer, is that area similar to walker or?
  11. you got a map on that area? wheres the location and details?
  12. well my birthdays comin up , lookin to go out offroadin somewhere close to home , somthin not to harsh maybe just a afternoon , not a all dayer , looking at Feb 11 a saturday, nothing set yet ,maybe go wheelin then meet and have treats, ( no presents) any ideas?
  13. we finally got started on the project in the shop heres what it looks like after a afternoon of choppin thanks Clayton for the help took some measurements of the ranger tranny , looks pretty long, reconsidering , loooking at the old Jeep tranny/transfercase, T-90 , its pretty compact. going to look at a set of tires this week they are 30 x 9.5 BFG M/T looks like move front axle ahead 6-7 inches, this will allow the diff punkin to slip up were the stock engine crossmember was, extend rear 10" , so finished wheeelbase 4" short of stock. thinking of installing airshocks in the rear to assist the stock shocks as they will now be 1/3 way up the swingarm , also maybe convert the stock air conditioner pump into a air compressor to have on board air and valves on the dash to control the shocks from drivers seat
  14. on a stock ea82 max camber is 2.5 degree ( I know its a ea81 )
  15. just go wheelin it will work. heres what mine looks like , the cross member is dropped 2 " and the struts 3-1/2 " so it has a little more camber then stock ,also the higher you go and the larger the tire it just looks more noticable , remember your building this to improve offroad proformence , it will handle worse on the freeway then it did in stock form,
  16. not sure on year , it seem lancruiser shocks work on a 3 -4" lift
  17. he got a few tranny mts from me
  18. adding forgot colateral damage this is what happens when you stand behind a wheel thats spinning in the rocks , I was helping push 1 eyes brat and it shot a rock at my leg , looks bad but its ok , I didnt even have a first aid kit ( next time will)
  19. I guy at work has a nissan pickup with dual sparkplugs a Z motor this is the cap it uses 2 coils and this funky cap with 2 coil wire inputs we can make it work
