  1. I have a gen1 car sitting here waiting for me to tackle it
  2. befor I installed the EJ2.2 into my wheeler I wanted lower gears as the EA82 engine didnt have enough power, now that I have the EJ and less weight gearing is not a issue, I can go up hills that befor I had to get a run at and sometimes not make because of lack of power, I feel what I gots a good combo if you want to stay simple and stick with subaru, EA82 body, dual range and axles EJ engine tires no larger then 28"
  3. I would drop the tranny back a few inches, you dont have to drop it all the way out, thats how I did my EA82 clutch with 2" blocks on the engine
  4. thanks guys , Ill try to get one local Ill try that sears one first, another ?? whats the difference between the older stub style and the newer male type , do inner parts interchange? can you put newer axles into older diffs with the stub removed or??
  5. rear diff stub shaft socket, what is it and what size?? I got the brocken one off with a 8mm box wrench but the good ones down in a hole, what tool do I need cause I need to go buy one, thanks Scott
  6. donut spares steel are thinner then regular rims and the inner bead has no bead lock bump they are smooth

My Nephew went in the ditch the other day my AAA Plus got him out , the farmers tractor just spun on the road, the tow truck that came used 2 winches front and rear, there truck kept slidding, at one point the driver said " looks like we will need a bigger truck" then it finally came out , I got the AAA Plus back in July when my engine gave in tacoma
  10. :banana: I Didnt do much shopping around looked at Laows they had one 155 btu for $370 a orangeish one, looked at a local Hardware store and got the one ine the picture its 115 BTUs cost $330 its a multi fuel burns kerosine, diesel and Jet fuel , buurns .89 gal per hour used it a couple days now burnt up 5 gals kerosine and 1 gal diesel, I think Im going to burn #2 diesel as it smells better and cost less , I wouldnt have worked out there without it , got a tranny swapped in my white offroader ardvark soobie

  20. the 4 bolt plate at the front with the rubber mount on top sits basically flat, you can raise the front another 1" without any issues, lets see this buggy your building, start a build thread in the offroad section, what size ATV tires you looking to run??
