  1. car came with riders spent 2 hours cleaning her up pretty decent for a 20 year old car
  2. Gregg like the winch, been lookin at those on ebay would like to see it work, tell us how you like it, does it do what yopu want it to do? get that thing stuck and pull it out, good times
  3. yes its always nice to start over, alot less work, I will be designing new tube bumpers and alloy skid plate too
  4. got a new car to hack up its just like my 88 EA82 White Walker Wheeler, I like the wheeler it does awesome for what is is but I miss my old car, after looking at a few old pics of when I first built it 3 years ago and what it was like then I decided to build up a new one but a little bigger, the wheeler has a 3-1/2" lift and the new car will get a 6" the old one has 27" tires new one will get 30" old has a Carbed EJ 2.2 new gets the Ej 2.2 with Fuel injection, I miss the rear hatch and room in the back, this one will be my daily driver and light wheelin, no dents, the cars in decent shape, same white with blue/grey interior, electric windows, has blown heads ,its complete and ready for some mods, this one Im going to keep the body stock and just do a little trimming for the tires, heres a few pics
  5. Crab

heres the 6" lift check out the peices in the middle , you can do the same thing with your 2 x 2 tubing basically drop all the bolt points bolt it up and weld the parts together, good luck SJR DSC02641.jpg

  6. Dan that car ( EA82 ) is my personal choice , has better axles , you will need a dual range for hill climbing , a 26 or 27 " tire is good for the stock engine if you swap in a EA81 or a EJ 2.2 you can go bigger tires, the stock engine is a dog in the lower RPMS, 4" lift will do it , 6" allows for bigger tires and for looks, TSLs rule if mud is in your plans, the SSRs radials are somewhat soft and will wear fast, I would go not so agresive if the car will live on the road most its miles, redrilled wheels are easy to do when I build again it will have the following EA82 wagon EJ2.2 engine from a lagacy 6" SJR lift 30 x 950 M/Ts Hankooks Scott ( owner and Builder of SJRLIFT ) good luck and keep us posted when you start to build
  7. As some of you know I run a EJ 2.2 in my wheeler with a weber carb and ford escort disty, well I want to build another one and am looking at my options for ignition, what other distys have beeen installed on the EJ engine or also I was wondering if there was a way to set up a electronic system without a disty something ltke the original ECU but simpler maybe utilizing the stock EJ coil pack and timing sensors , we are talking ignition only this would not be fuel injected, whats out there??
  8. Ive done it on a Jeep , just remove the rear cover and weld it up, problem will be getting it all cleaned out when your done,
  9. I have a set similar to the pic, $20 they are yours
  10. Had a blast today, thanks Again Jeff . that was some nice muddy hill climbs good times, good to have the white car going again thanks Soobiedoo for the help lastnight getting it ready ,it had no leaks:banana: thinkin a 1 peice fiberglass front end may be in its future to make it even lighter and maybe ditch that winch , or get a smaller lighter one,
  11. looks like Im running late if I dont see you at Joes will meet at the walker parking lot, or CB ch 5
  12. yes and we should go up the rock face
  13. planin to fix the heater tonight plan on goin
  14. if its not freezing and my heater works

  15. might not make this as the heater core leaks in my wheeler
  16. the Hubs are the strongest with the stock holes and studs, the fronts are stronger then the back , when you drill new holes they are now placed in the thinner unbraced part of the casting, so its nice keeping with at least 2 of the original holes/studs wich happens with the 6 bolt hub mod, now looking at these hubs the rear has a lot of meat if you went with a smaller bolt circle the fronts have those 4 indents for the disc bilts you have to deal with 4 x 100 may work , keep us updated
  17. whats your drop from stock at the rear of the diff? and at the rear swing mount tube ?, I really like that long shock youve created, I like the sedan, I wouldnt bob it , just paint it bright Yellow
  18. make sure your front adjusters are cranked down as that will gain you 1"
