i know that if i use OB struts and springs on my 94 legacy,i need to use OB strut tops which will require me to drill new holes. my question is-when drilling new holes to fit the OB tops.would i have to drill three new ones or just one or two?didn't know if like 1 or 2 of the previous holes would line right up.i was looking to use OB struts along with the Scorpion lift springs.so i'll assume that i need OB tops. i was hoping that they made lift springs for legacys but only for imprezas and OBs. any pointers for drilling new holes would be appreciated thanks

that's the same problem i had on my 94 legacy.i just replaced the whole assembly with one out of a parts car i had.

well you did say stock.of course it's not stock for legacy(so in a twisted way it's aftermarket)

if you wanted to add a metal skid plate,you could do what i did.i got a plate for a 91 loyale from someone here(91loyale) did some banging and i had to elongate the holes in the back.drilled some new holes in the rad support and bolted(screwed) this is how much space i got out when useing the spacers in the back to drop it down.

how does it sound? i know that changing the air intake can create a nice sound when you get on the gas. in the 92 legacy i had,i changed out the filter box for a cone filter and i used to get a throaty sound.wasn't sure if adding a snorkle would create a different intake sound.

now what's the purpose again for the T-type hook up between the inner an outer fenders? btw-looks good

would someone like tire warehouse be able to do tire siping? probably something i should just ask them.don't think i'd bother doing it to the tires i have now,but when i do get the ones i want.i'll more then likely have them siped. thinking of going with kumhos m/t

well if your gonna have new struts put in,do the outback strut swap. my 94 legacy does the same(tracking to the right)but i think my problem is the fact that i have a busted spring on the front driversside so it's causeing it to want to go right.

they could just be stuck.i had same prob on my 92 legacy.i managed to move um with a needle (not before braking the tip off inside one) you could try removing them from the hood and soak em in hot water to unstick em.

it's gonna have to wait til after christmas. it's not to bad driving around with a broken spring,except that it feels like it wants to pull to the right a bit and that her front end is sitting about 2" lower. gonna see if my mech has one.seeing that he's here in town and for weird reason she shakes a'bit at idle after going at highway speeds.then about a week later she's fine.if he doesn't then i'll be in touch. btw-i'm not risking any futher damage by driving with a busted spring.??

but my legacy's a 94? only 1994 subaru model that i saw that had a recall,was the impreza(airbags)

well i took a good look at it this morning(more light )turns out broken spring on driversside.pass side is ok but i think it's getting overworked due to the busted one. (you can see were it broke) now i just gotta get the money to replace that strut/spring
