  1. Just simply check the voltage at the battery. If it's below 11v then obviously its a problem with the battery and/or the alternator. Charge up the battery start it up, see if it can give out more then 13V. If not bad alternator simple as that. I suggest replacing the battery at the same time.
  2. Hmm never noticed the intervals. I know with my legacy it ran original fluid from 1993-2005 when the water pump was replaced it was drained keep in mind car had 250,000km +.
  3. I was looking around and it seems this is the best deal in Canada. The axles are at the point where they cladder on the highway pretty bad so it is time. Rad now leaks by the liter and I wasted like $50 so far in coolant for no reason. http://www.autopartsway.ca/autoparts/quote.cfm?ID=1993~K4000-97681~000314953~SU~LEG-4WD-001~Axle+Assembly Those two brands are all they sell. I am going to call autopartsway and see what the warrenty is like. Preferably I will ask for the FWD axles.
  4. lol that would have been the most fun of my life for me. Lucky guys get european Subaru's
  5. Man that totally sucks. Definitely doesn't look like a write off though. What are the odds between two tree's to! For 15km/h seems like alot of damage for some reason.
  6. That is a perfect car. They are AWD to right! Good for going around town. 50miles is plenty in a days driving. Lipo's perform good, light, last long.
  7. Screw that, get a FWD impreza with a 1.8l. That should get you closer to 40mpg. Better yet wait for a Legacy or Outback with a 2.0L boxer diesel that gets 50mpg.
  8. Mine are the same way in my 93 legacy. I think they only work when you floor it, hit the brakes, or I guess during impact. Not sure why they don't always work??
  9. ahaahahaha! Funny thing is ill bet my EJ22 can go much faster then some crappy EJ25
  10. That's odd. I know with the system on 90-94 they were to keep it in the highest gear. My system goes up hills no problems and no downshift. This is with a EJ22. Why would they make it more aggressive for a car with a EJ25??
  11. Wow what happened to that impreza?? All I know is I want those rims for my legacy
  12. Also just so you know the FWD fuse won't work because the transmission is hydraulic so if there is no fluid being pumped it can not disengage the rear.
  13. Make sure the universal joints from the steering wheel right where the firewall is located, is tight. Mine was loose.
  14. Did you try putting the FWD fuse in?? If the torque bind goes away after that then you can try changing the fluid a few times.
  15. That is one smooooooooooooooth ej22 especially with a carb. Amazing.
  16. Aw poor bucky Don't worry alot of us learned to love it! The new STi looks awesome!!
  17. What PPM do you need to pass. My 93 Legacy with 307K that leaks every possible fluid passed with flying colours at 47 PPM. You need less then 200 PPM to pass here.
  18. I thought they had a optional subwoofer you can buy and simply plug and play under your seat? I am sure they sound fine go to a dealership and test drive one and bring a good cd
