  1. I would only be worried about the powertrain warrenty since those items would be the most expensive. The $1200 you spend for b to b is probably alot more then you will spend on small items that COULD possibly break.
  2. It looks like a Suzuki but ya that interior feature does seem neat.
  3. Trust me if you try some ceramic pads and get some good synthetic fluid it will make a noticeable differance in braking. After doing the brakes on my Legacy with ceramic pads and changing the fluid the brakes have no fade, and stop amazingly better then my dads Nissan Titan with 2 piston brake caliper and much larger rotors. My brakes are N/A and running stock brake lines still, I can't imagine how much better braided lines would be
  4. Amazing!! Would have been more amazing if I had done a waterpump before and seen how bad it can actually get. My fluid was never changed in 200,000+km. Someone else got the opportunity instead to see what the pump looked like :-p
  5. Latest dream drove through snow 100ft high Not like its not possible though
  6. I suggest you get the car to a shop and get the vehicle in the air so everything can be checked for play.
  7. I did I was in a swimming center of some sort a HUGE one and I was inside with my subaru and my the drove up stairs and then it drove under water and I got back outside and then I woke up and said wtf :-p
  8. I don't think torque bind is a common issue unless you are driving with different sized wheels and tire pressure isn't even. I think a more likely issue is clutch packs being worn out and giving you delayed AWD.
  9. lol, how didn't you notice all this body damage later?? Even if it was night. I am lost with this story.:-\ Do you buy cars with your eyes shut?
  10. Clear :-p Guessing your transmission is NOT a 4EAT If it is I say your transmission needs fluid !!
  11. Yes quite a bit of snow. Picked up my snow blower last night Fun going by all the people who were stuck. Aw I am mean
  12. Well sprayed some carb cleaner down the tube started it up ran fine, and was freezing outside -5C I believe. Brakes work, but is it normal for the idle to flucuate when I hit the brakes??
  13. Can I clean the check valve with throttle body cleaner? Ill just spray it down the hose, and maybe some WD40 to prevent it from freezing? OR just replace the vacuum line? It is definitely the valve because after it warms up the brakes operate like normal.
  14. Hello. My dad reported the brakes don't work when the car is cold. Well it feels like there is no brake booster. After driving for a while it works. Is this normal? Car has been running awfully weird as well. Only getting like 250km a tank. Could the power booster be creating a significant vacuum leak?? Help is well appreciated, thanks.
  15. This one right? According to my dealer they can not find out if it is indeed the key shown in this link http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showpost.php?p=58841&postcount=8 So I didn't order one he said it might turn out to be a normal key.
  16. You could go to a heated shop let it sit there and let it thaw out. After it thaws out you can start it for a moment. Then Chagne the coolant with actual coolant.
  17. Maybe you were on ice and eventually dug through. I think a set of blizzaks would help in these snowy conditions
  18. Did you try changing the transmission fluid first? Maybe throw in some additives like lucas transmission fix.
