  1. No one here uses anti squeek before installing new pads??? Its this rubber liquid i pour on the back of the pad wait a minute then install never ever hear my brakes squeel at all. Also now started lubing and cleaning my sliders. Using ATE ceramic pads and plain brembo rotors front and rear.
  2. Yes!! When is warm outside there is 0 crack noises on take off or downshift manually. But when its cool outside thats when it is most annoying. Well I did drive with torque bind for a while so I guess I should change all the easy mounts like the transmission mount, the bar that goes from the firewall to the bell housing and see if that helps. Hmm about the flex plate I wonder. Someone told me that to seems to drive fine but seems weird seems like its not giving as much as it usually does. At idle though its normal no ticks, just sometimes I get a tick when its cold outside, but I think its the lifters.
  3. Doesn't seem shot but I can definitely get it to flex a bit and wiggle if I try. I was thinking about replacing that piece with one from a wrx or something. Its a awfully thin bar.
  4. It is a automatic. Definitely is flex as even in D when you get off the gas you can hear it. Its pretty rough and loud. Still haven't replaced my front cv's though which have alot of play could that be the reason why? I almost seems like the car is seperating LOL.
  5. I am bored lol so I thought Id ask, I also searched but didn't come across anything. But anyway today was pretty annoying when you put the car in manual mode or heck even in D i get a loud crack from the dask board as it seems when it down shifts. I am wondering what I would need to fix this horrible flex in my car. Maybe a motor mount, tranny mounts? the brace going from the firewall to the transmission bell housing maybe? What do you think is the issue please tell me :-p Thanks.
  6. Exactly when I was screwing around with my speedo cable and unplugged it I got a power light. Didn't drive crappy though and I didn't get a check engine light. If its not working at all there is a piece that often fails on the differential where the speedo cable plugs in that breaks. http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=32903&highlight=speedo http://www.main.experiencetherave.com:8080/subaru/images/speedocablebase.jpg
  7. Say you want $5000. They are very rare mention Good that you are ok. Better see all the doctors ASAP. Have any pics? Poor Subaru.
  8. My car does the same thing still, and I still haven't installed the new CV's. The front's are both remans with alot of play on the diff side.
  9. Hmm this is a good oportunity for a new vehicle and some shopping across the border. ONE ISSUE NO $$$$$$$$$$$$$

  11. Maybe a CV? Could be the tires still like they are out of balance or a belt broke. Doesn't hurt to check the calipers and make sure the sliders slide
  12. Awesome. I guess it wouldn't hurt to clean out the IAC valve see if that makes it idle properly. Also try dumping seafoam down the PCV valve and put some in the fuel tank. BTW no they did not all have 5 speeds a 5 speed in a 90-94 turbo was rare.
  13. I WANT THOSE RIMS NOW!!!! Which rims are those?? The car's look awesome man!! Even with the hub caps
  14. The 89-91 legacy's had the AUX standard and CD player on higher end models. 92-94 did not have AUX standard as they cheaped out and CD player on higher end models.
  15. Maybe take it out. Look to see if there are belts and gears that are messed. Then Spray some contact cleaner on everything. Then Plug it in. If it doesnt work take out a hammer then take out a camera and take pics
  16. Its odd. 90-91 had aux. Then the rest didn't. What happened? Still even alot of cars today do not have auxillary although a 17-18 year old car would
  17. Dude you don't need a horn. You need something that will throw something at there car. Like a basketball
