  1. Absolutely, without hesitation.
  2. I have 5 - 2in holes in the bottom of my air box
  3. No, got to many other things to get ready for the Show. I'm not the one with a digidash :-p
  4. Your right about that. But finding one and paying for it are a different story. I'm bumping this up because I'm about to install the spider intake. And of course, I've encountered a problem with the wiring. It seems that my 89.5 RX has different plugs. One is the same, but it the pinouts are different. Meaning the wires dont match the plugs when hooked up. And the other plug is completely different. The XT plug is flat and mine is round. I'm thinking of cutting the one of my old intake and using it on the spider wiring, that way I can keep the RX wiring stock (in case I need to go back). I could sure use your input Russ. How can I bribe you to come over on your day off? :-p Or has anyone else encountered theis on their swaps? I was doing some research and now remember that I need to get the pitch stopper and throttle cable from the XT also. Which isnt a problem, I know where its at
  5. I've bought 3 rads from the Barn, all at the same time. They actually called me to make sure of the order. The Double row one in my RX is doing great, I have had no leaks or cooling issues in almost 20K. The one in my Hatch is also doing great, wish I could put one on my PS As far as I know, the 3rd one is still going, in my 86 GL-ao Turbo Wagon.
  6. The heck with pics. I want to see it in person! Bring it to the Show man
  7. Well, whatever works. If you want to come on down, I wont hold you back! That will give me more time to work on stuff here. I just got another iron thrown on the fire. The Mitsu Galant VR4 I worked on last year is back :-\ It has a electrical problems under the dash
  8. Crikey! That sucks :-\ If you were closer, you could buy mine.
  9. Ahhh, ok. Never used it, I dont have a clue, sorry :-\
  10. I would assume its just like any other diff. Fill it to the bottom of the filler hole.
  11. Thanks! I'll get ahold of you shortly. Sounds like a good excuse for a bike ride:-p
  12. If its all the way to the end of its adjustment, it could be.
  13. I know of a couple of people close to me that are feeling the crunch. And I know I'll be helping them with their "projects" on top of mine. I have 3 cars to get ready. RX needs... Rear wheel bearing. Those that have changed these know how much fun they are. New clutch installed (in the mail) Spider intake installed. TMIC re-piped. Front axle replaced. Detailed, inside and out. If theres time and $, I want to swap to 5 lug. That means I need tires, already have wheels. XT6... Needs tranny swapped and detailed. A/C recharged. 95 Imp... Fuel pump needs replaced and leak fixed. Needs a quick and dirty rattlecan paint job. Its probably going to be running on a trip permit, no money left over for title transfer and tabs :-\ If we dont get Mykeys engine ready, he might be driving my SVX. Which means that needs work, its got a major water leak somewhere.
  14. If the Rislone doesnt work, its not worth the money trying the cocktail. The tranny is to fubared (but not beyond repair). In 88 the GL-10 Turbo Wagon had 5spd FT S/R with LSD. Pretty sure it had diff lock. Basically the same tranny in the XT6 5spd FT. http://www.cars101.com/oldsubaru.html#1988
  15. I hit 100awhp on my CCR engine. All stock but the 2.5in exhaust and K&N filter. And I was running my 14" Hankook winter tires........yes, it was winter.
  16. Try this. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=920674&highlight=%22Uncle+Scotty%27s%22+cocktail Its helped mine out some.
  17. I got my folding engine hoist at Harbor Freight and have pulled several engines with no problems. I would say any thing "electrical" from Harbor Freight is questionable.
  18. Thats nothing compared to the Michelin Rally X tires I just dismounted....by hand :-\
  19. Yeah, wish I had one right now. I've been busting my arse hand dismounting most of my "collection". I had close to 70 tires in my backyard. I have about 20 left to dismount. I get rid of 6 tires a week, so I've been at it for a while. The problem I would have with that unit is mounting. I have no cement floor to anchor it to :-\
  20. Depends on the year of your car. The 85-86's had metal backing, but the later 80's had Styrofoam inside. The early 80's had stout bumpers, lots of metal. But the ones with the plastic shell had light metal frames.
  21. All Subaru front seats have the tilt feature. Even the wagons. I have Legacy wagon seats in my 84 Brat.
  22. No, there were 2 from the same guy. The one I got was for turbo models. They were more likely to have the digidash. I did bid on the one you got, but after you bid I looked at the other one and used the "Buy it now" feature. I got it for the same price you got the other one for.
  23. Got this in the mail today. I will be scanning most, if not all of it and have it uploaded for the USRM.
  24. I was finally able to procure a FSM electrical manual for the 84 Turbo models. Its in the mail right now. This will have all the pin outs and what not for the digidash. My ultimate idea is to make a conversion harness thats just plug and play.
