  1. Depends on what deck you get. But in general, they stick out at least a inch.
  2. About 4mo ago I got some Brembo front rotors for my Brat off Ebay. Just installed them a few weeks ago and it really helped. I just went thru all my emails and might have deleted all the info I'll see what I can find on Ebay.
  3. Ok, back on topic. I should have the RX road worthy Fri. I still need the seal, the Dealer will have it tomorrow. I would have it done tomorrow, but I have a unpleasant task to attend to. Our Fire Chief's Service is tomorrow and its going to be a all day thing. For you locals, watch the 6pm news, it will be noted. Well, it was sort of on topic
  4. I've dreamt of a 4 link for years :-p Are there any Sami's out there with 4 links?
  5. I'll see if I can get some of that yellow Police tape they use for "incidents"
  6. Well, I cant make it :-\ I have a doctors app that day(IME). I just called and asked why they schecduled it on a Sat and they said it was the earliest/next opening they had. I cant reschedule it, its for Insurance
  7. Qmans Brat is the ultimate in straight axle setups. Even had a electric locker. It has a Isuzu rearend and a Nissan T-Case. And its a tad narrower than a Subaru track. Death Hatch never moved under its own power I dont think (never finished).
  8. Yeah, but you might have a problem doing t-belts on it tho
  9. $300 - $400 max. I see lots of potential problems with it.
  10. The steering column surround. But if he isnt careful, it will be a waste of time.
  11. Ah, what a difference :-p And I think I might have found my low idle stumble/vac leak. When I was loosening the TB bolts, I found one on the bottom that was loose. I got.......creative with using the RX throttle cable. It will do for the moment. Some of the IC I have will also make do on the 90 coming from the turbo. Unfortunately, the rear bearing I was going to replace will have to wait till Thurs when the correct part comes in
  12. Check the bushing in the rear diff hanger. Its the round one on top in the front.
  13. Thanks for the pics, Tex. When Russ was over today, this is exactly what he told me you did. He said when he was doing his setup, he picked your brain for help :-p Is that the stock or XT throttle cable? And did you get the Samco Y-pipe on Ebay?
  14. I was a little disappointed today with the guy. He was there all day and we were all outside, working. I had Mykey over and then later Caboob showed up. He kept looking over, but not once said anything to us. I'm having a feud with the owners, so they might have warned him to stay away from the crazy guy next door Oh well, if he was a true Subaru fanatic, he would have said something.
  15. I thought he missed my house at first :-p They are pulling the doublewide out next door to me and I guess this guy is doing some work prior to the pull. I dont recognise the Brat, but I'm sure I will be talking to him. Like the dual axle trailer.
  16. Hmmm, wish it wasnt the weekend after WCSS10. But if I can, I would love to make it. Never been to Walker yet and my Hatch has just been sitting, growing moss :-\
  17. I would dismiss the idea of using a EA82T in your trike. To many headaches. What would be a better choice and withe a little more HP, would be the EJ22. Or even the EJ18. Much more dependable, bullet proof and many more of these are becoming available now.
  18. Depends on if you want it shipped or you come and pick it up. How far are you from Puyallup/Sumner?
  19. Glad to see I'm not the only nut working in a dirt driveway :-p
  20. My friend with the Mitsu Galant VR4 came home today and when he came to pick up his car (after I was done fixing his fubared stereo install) he decided to install his new injectors and Walbro fuel pump. Of course I volunteered to help We removed the fuel pump and fuel injectors and replaced the same with the new parts. Now, when I pulled the stock injectors out, I noticed that they were closely similiar to the EA injectors. I asked him if he knew what the flow was on them and he said he thought they were 420. I set them aside and we finished the job. He left and I continued working on ny RX. I finally tired of working on it and decided to check out the Mitsu injectors. So, I know how everyone likes pics, so without further a'do...(and I apoligise for some of the clarity - cell phone pics) Stock EA82T inj- Disassembled The Mitsu inj Side by side comparison The Mitsu with the collar and rubber grommet on With the plastic base on Sitting in the manifold As you can see, the spray pintle is shorter on the Mitsu inj and lacks reaching into the boss by 1/4in. The distance can be shortened by cutting down the plastic base by 5/16. It would also be mandatory to have a RRFPR. I think 420 would be more than adequate for our needs and alot easier to find these than the Nissan 280ZX injectors. Thoughts?
  21. I may have one thats not broken. I was just messing with a couple of turbo intakes today and I think theres one available.
  22. Rotated by how much? Got any pics? N/M, found some pics. Looks like you rotated the whole turbo/DP/Up-pipe. Right?
