  1. Hey Brian, how did it go? We want pics!
  2. Keep what you have stock. Go find another Justy....doesnt matter if its 4wd or not, or if it has a blown motor. Find a wrecked Sami. Put body of Justy on Sami frame. You might be able to fit a EJ engine under it, if theres clearance between frame and body. But theres other engine choices out there.
  3. That dust is almost as bad as the Off Camber Rally X a few weeks ago :-p
  4. Dude, I cant help you anymore :-\ If I was standing next to you, I would be kicking you in the rump roast and banging your head against the fender You need to figure some of this stuff out yourself, it really isnt that hard. Its a Subaru.
  5. The computer is located under the steering column. Theres a hole where a LED will flash from. Your green test connector is located in the engine compartment, drivers side, between the wiper motor and hood hinge.
  6. The procedure for reading the codes are at the top of the page. It tells you where and how to read the codes. It also tells you where the test connector is.
  7. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=49918&highlight=codes
  8. Great news! I was in a yard today that had a 4dr Justy in it. Unfortunately, I was suffering from a bad case of CRS and couldnt recall what you needed. Glad you found one local.
  9. Frank, I think your XT is originally from Canada. They were the only ones in NA to get the height adjustable air suspension. I believe there is a way to make a switch to make it manually adjustable. If you go do a search at www.subaruxt.com you might come up with something.
  10. As I posted on the other Board... Put up a WTB in the Wanted Forum. There should be somebody in the PNW area that has a disty. If that fails, get ahold of Aarons here in the Seattle area. http://aaronsauto.com/
  11. Your on your way to a HG replacement job. Sooner or later (maybe sooner) its going to fail completely. The oil pressure is consistant with all EA engines. At idle it will drop to zero, even mentions this in the owners manual.
  12. Then get bigger tires and wheels. That wont change the angle of the axles.
  13. For the rear, look for wagon struts. If your real lucky you might find a pair of adjustable ones. Wow, that sucker has some serious cancer
  14. If you dont want the expense of buying a lift kit, get a pair of adjustable rear shocks or 2wd rear shocks. The fronts you may have to do a search on cause I cant remember what will lift it. Get some 15" Pug alloys and the right size tire and you will have a pretty tall XT.
  15. Have you checked the fuses? If not, check them all, it may be attached to another circuit.
  16. I think the relay is under the passenger seat (someone correct me if I'm wrong). If you can hear the relay working, someone from there to the pump is bad.
  17. Just for S&G's, loosen the gas cap. Then try it again.
  18. The hla's are the same, as are most of the internals. Take the pump off and check it out. If theres scoring, grooves or discoloration, replace it. How many miles on the engine?
  19. Its part of the plug, but run a fresh ground from the pump to the body and see if it runs. If you connect the green test connector and turn the ign on you will hear the FP cycling.
  20. Make sure the ground is good.
  21. Nope, its a different pump and gasket.
  22. I agree, keep it RWD. All you need is the right amount of weight in the rear to help it hook up. And thats one sweet Gen 1 Brat (My fav color, of course)
  23. I'll try and keep it in mind when I hit a yard later this week.
  24. I was talking to another member the other day and he said he bought the last 4 that were in the US :-\
