  1. So much for the post I had in this thread :-\ I have one also. Let me know if you dont get ahold of Mark.
  2. You can change the wiring at the relay, which I believe is under the dash. I dont recall the exact location tho unfortunately. The wiring diagram will tell you which wire is the one from the light switch. Just need to swap that out with a powered wire, dont forget a fuse in there.
  3. Run some Seafoam thru the fuel system, the injectors could still be gummed up.
  4. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=49918
  5. I agree with the Seafoam treatment, etc. But if its running better at boost, you probably have a vac leak somewhere. Get a can of ether and check all the intake hoses and around the base of the intake manifold.
  6. I installed Legacy seats in my last Brat. It was a while ago, so its a little hard to remember it all exactly (CRS). I believe theres a inch difference between the track widths. I cant remember if the seat rail was narrow or wide tho. But I removed the tracks from both seats and installed the EA81 rails onto the Lego seat bottom. To get the rails off the Lego can be a pita, it took some drilling to get some spot welds off. Then I made up a couple of spacers and used them on the outer rail. When installed I noticed that the seats had a recline to it. It can be adjusted with shims, but I left them as is.
  7. Its not a problem............................when your running a divorced t-case
  8. You may have to wait a little bit to narrow down your search. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=93062 But look up: SJRlifts AA lifts Ozified lifts
  9. If you replace the DP with the one I sold you, you will notice a definite increase in power
  10. I sold him a replacement DP last week. It has a 02 sensor in it. There are some up-pipes that have bungs in them for 02 sensors, I have one on my RX. But these are pretty rare and might be from a EA81T. Use the one after the turbo, on the DP.
  11. Permits are $10ea, 5 permits per family. Available at the Ranger Station on Hwy 410 just past Mc D's. Hours are M-F, 8am-4:30pm. Phone number is (360) 825-6585.
  12. Well, guess I'll play along. Around 10in of lift, sub frame front and rear. Divorced Nissan t-case. 30x11.50x15 Superswampers 5spd D/R. 4.11 gears front and rear, rear diff welded. Dual shocks up front, Ranchos in the rear. Rear disc brakes. Power steering. Weber carb on top of a EA81 engine. Warn 6000 winch. Steel bumpers, front and rear. Red Top battery. Some other doo dads I'm probably forgetting.
  13. No cutting necessary. Just make sure you get all the parts needed for the swap. Peddle assembly, clutch cable. Complete running gear. Make sure the rear diff ratio you get matches the tranny (3.9 for a 5spd D/R non turbo)
  14. Have you direct wired the fan to see if it works?
  15. The timing sounds like its wrong. Does it have any power? Have you read the write up on installing the timing belts? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50768
  16. I believe ALL EA82 power steering units leak. Usually around the lines coming out of the pump. Which can get on the pulley and sprAy from there.
  17. All it takes are the right tools. Long needle nose pliers and skinny fingers.
  18. The timing may need to be adjusted. It should be 25deg BTDC. Dont forget to connect the green plug under the dash next to the ECU first.
  19. Post a pic of it here... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=92756 The Cherry Bomb on my hatch is in the center, I have another26in or so of pipe the rear. Its a little quieter than having it at the end.
  20. I'm open for Evans.
  21. If you find one with over 150K on it, expect to replace alot of the suspension/steering components. Experiment with loads, you will find a point where you and the car feel over-burdened. I watched this guy haul the remnants of a deck in his trailer for a week. It was full on all trips.
  22. Hahaha........NOT! Besides, some of us have a few of each kind
