Turbone replied to Subarutex's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I might have a drivers side EA81 fender in my stash. I've been doing a bunch of yard work lately, so I might be able to get to them now -

Tell that to Sasquatch :-p This is the PNW, you can get lost......for a long time. Ditto on the tow straps, they also weigh less. If your going to be out for a week or more, def bring a small chain saw. Portable battery pack for jumpstarts. If your into it, a GPS is nice. Shouldnt get lost using one. They also have units now that friends/family can track you and it has a beacon for 911.

The voltage regulator is in the gauge, so I dont know the value of that. But the resistances are as follows: Full tank--------7 ohms Half tank------- 32.5 ohms Zero tank-------95 ohms FSM also states that standard resistance of fuel gauge is 45 ohms.

She probably wont get in till early morning sometime. Knowing her and her sleeping habits now (what sleep?) She will probably post here when she gets home. She will most likely have some good stories for you Easterners
