  4. Heh, welcome to the "black sheep" of the XT6 family And thats a pretty clean one too. I've had 2 black ones at the same time I still have one, my 89 4EAT. Its waiting for a engine/tranny swap. Maybe this year. You also know that any and all the info you need is over at XT6.net. But if you need anything or help/info, just let me know.
  5. I suggest going to VTR in Everett. They are closer to you. Russ can also vouch for them. When I tried to get SRP to tint my RX a year ago, I couldnt get a answer from him so I went somewhere else.
  6. Right, I just looked at the thread again (NASIOC) and he said its on a Saturday. So really, a date hasnt been set in stone yet. So it looks like I will be present for the RX meet
  7. Most, if not all, Weber additions to EA's have the EGR disabled/removed.

  12. Are you talking about the front diff stick? Thats a arm burner for sure if you have a turbo I have no problems getting to the AT stick, nothing there to get burned on.
  13. Sounds like he drained the tranny (no movement in any gear) and filled the front diff. You need to remove the diff drain plug (easy to spot) and completely drain it. Refill with the recommended fluid. Then fill the tranny with the fluid you originally started with.
  14. There are a few spots on LB that will need the rust bullet treatment. It wont be a total waste. And I hate to say it but.......you might need it for your Imp in several years :-\

    Not stuck...........just floating along :-p Still not stuck, pulling out. Got a little wet inside. Also have the remnants of a blown DOJ. Some left overs. From WCSS8 when I had to show some Yota owners how your supposed to go thru the pit. This thing sure likes water :-p My first Hatch. WCSS7

  18. Heh, the only original black parts are the drivers front fender and the trunk lid. The car was originally Teal. The rest is rattlecan flat black. Oh, I'll touch it up, for sure I did a quick look see on it today. Found out they hacked the wiring for the tail lights. If you plug them in, the parking lights stay on
  19. The reason the XT6 rusted out was because there were no preventative steps taken when it first started to take hold. That was long before you got it. Hard to beat back something that already had a good start. I think the coupe will be fine if it gets treated before or soon after getting to your place. I have some spray on stuff that we used underneath the semi trailers at Gordon trucking. Its awesome stuff and never hardens. I will see if I can get more, but I have 2 cans right now. I know how bad you want to show him off at Carlisle
