  1. I've got it also. I hope I make it there in time. I did a install late yesterday and I still need a couple of parts from the parts store. And then it needs to be fabbed
  2. It sounds like the front seal is leaking. I would probably do a complete service on the front if it was me. New timing belts and tenshioners, re-seal the oil pump, new cam shaft seals/o-rings. Check the valve covers and oil pan for leaks. The gunk on the steering column base is most likely from a bad axle boot. If I can remember tomorrow, I will stop by my XT6 and look at the blue wire and make sure which terminal is goes into. Dont know the hub size, so I cant help you there. The y-pipe can be a beotch. Dual port for twice the fun! PB Blaster the studs first of course. Never had any leaks myself tho. And yes, they are cool cars
  3. I dont know if Dicks can handle 2 of us

  5. I bought a EA82T block from them recently. Altho it didnt have any accessories like a long block would, it was all there and complete.

  9. Look by the drivers side strut tower and firewall.
  10. I might have a drivers side EA81 fender in my stash. I've been doing a bunch of yard work lately, so I might be able to get to them now
  11. I carry a very good kit when ever I do a trip....on or offroad. Had it with me last Sunday when we did a RallyX
  12. Tell that to Sasquatch :-p This is the PNW, you can get lost......for a long time. Ditto on the tow straps, they also weigh less. If your going to be out for a week or more, def bring a small chain saw. Portable battery pack for jumpstarts. If your into it, a GPS is nice. Shouldnt get lost using one. They also have units now that friends/family can track you and it has a beacon for 911.
  13. Getting older Zepplin? Beatles? Stones? Hendrix? Joplin? Yes? I could go on, those are the ones that people recognize :-p
  14. Oh yeah, those are real classics :-p
  15. Happy B-Day Mick Will you need o2 to blow out all those candles?
  16. Besides the clutch, replace the pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearing (its in the flywheel). Use jackstands because your going to want it high enough to get the tranny out from under the car (and back in).
  17. If it wasnt for you ^^^ I would still have the stock garbage in 2 of my rigs :-p Cracks me up when people think that just because I'm older that I dont listen to loud rock music And its not just "Classic" rock either
  18. John, as a redneck you should know the 2 man engine hoist :-\ 4 X and a chunk of chain
  19. The voltage regulator is in the gauge, so I dont know the value of that. But the resistances are as follows: Full tank--------7 ohms Half tank------- 32.5 ohms Zero tank-------95 ohms FSM also states that standard resistance of fuel gauge is 45 ohms.
  20. I only hit one cone............but missed a gate, twice Wouldnt be a big deal, but I worked that corner during the first session
  21. Wow, you know how to make a guy blush I try and help out when I can, never know when I might need it myself. But I do go out of my way to help people, especially ones that are close. And Connie is special and means alot to me
