TD04 is perfect for the EA82T. It can safely be boosted up to 12psi. BUT, you better have a fresh build on the engine if you go that high. Mild cams are ok, altho in my case using stock cams and as a daily, my mileage is just now starting to get better. I get about 270mi per tank, compared to 230 not long ago. Dont ask me why, I dont know If I had the money I would port and polish a spyder intake and do the same to the turbo. Ceramic coat piston crowns, etc. I'm running a WRX DP to 2.5in exhaust and it seems to breath fine. I need to get my narrow band A/F gauge working so I know whats going on. My last engine failure was due to pre detonation from over boost (bad ebay mbc). I also think my knock control unit is on the fritz. I am unable to pass our emissions test at idle. The thing runs rich all the time. Which is fine by me. But a dyno test will verify everything I've done so far. On my last dyno run, all I had done was the exhaust, air filer(K&N), MSD coil, stock turbo and boost. It was putting out 100AWHP, which isnt to bad. I've been contemplating a oil cooler, but my entire cooling system is new and it runs cooler than normal. Also have a WRX IC installed. If you are going to run higher boost and romp on it often, than meth inj might be a good idea. Its getting real popular here on Rex's and STI's. Any upgrades I do now will be to get Nissan injectors, a fuel regulator and a higher flow fuel pump.

Alright, somebody better PM me those "other" pics

I got pissed at it and cut most of it out Sorry. And its running now. Just needs a oil change and plugs. Got the front bumper on, but the headlight wiring got hacked up due to the projector lens installation Got the headliner replaced and all the console out. Next the dash gets replaced then I can start putting it all back together inside. I also need a right headlight (glass). If anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know.

My parts book shows it as 91017 GA640. -
You can try and straighten it out once you take it off. But its hardly worth the effort, theres plenty of mirrors available. Of course, I have several

Alright, let me know what your going to do. I know you probably have already, but I would definately go and read all you can about how Huck did his EG33 swap. This is not a plug and play deal. as you probably know already.

Sure is a big difference between my 14's and your 17's. Looking good, for sure. -
Ah, got it now. When you said exhaust port I was thinking in the valve area. I've never seen one cracked that bad and dont know what kind of effect it would have. But it doesnt look good :-\ I didnt get a chance to look at the one I have, will do it tomorrow.
-
Are you sure it goes up into the exhaust port? Never seen a gen3 do that, but I guess its possible.

All I need now is the Confed sign on the roof and a horn that plays Dixie To bad I'm a Yank :-\

Wait till I get it lowered some I believe they are American made, thier made by Sendel. And I've seen the brand around with newer stuff. Of course, these were made for a Pug, not Subaru. I cant remember where Qman picked them up, but it was about 5-6yrs ago.

No, you dummy. You took off without saying bye or anything :-\ And you should have said something when we were looking at them. You know I suffer from CRS

Bring it down to the SRP BBQ, I'll take some pics

Hmmm, 2 ECU's. So, exactly what are we working on here? Might need to trace back the wiring for the elec choke and figure out what went pop.

A little update on my progress. Pretty much got the back done. Lights, bumper, exhaust and rear struts (old ones had cut springs). And replaced the drivers door. I got all the interior parts and other odds and ends off a car at PIA in Tacoma. Starting on the front stuff today. I was very fortunate and picked up a free wrecked 97 with a 2.2. High miles but no leaks, its replacing the 1.8.

The only other fuse that I can think of is one under the dash by the steering colume in a in-line white plastic holder.

They cant pass Federal Safety Standards.

I've got a EG33 that needs to be rebuilt. Also have all the stuff needed for a swap and I'm local. Decide what you want to do and let me know. I might have some other options available also (ER27)

Yes, they are 4x140. Before pic, when Qman still had them. Funny, if you read the original 4 sale thread from Qman, I posted that I wasnt the one who bought them :-p http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=86185&highlight=sendel

Thanks all. I wasnt sure what they were going to look like and thier still growing on me. The car gets lots of looks, for sure. And you might never see another set of these. At least in the PNW. The wheels are made by Sendel and I've never seen another set. I need to lower the car now

Got the tires - 185/70/14 Potenza 960 Pole Positions mounted on the Sendels (thanks Zap). Have yet to drive on them, takes a couple hundred miles to break them in. Took them to Schwabs yesterday to get them mounted and I about punched the guy. Because I didnt buy the tires from them (dont sell Bridgestone anyway) he quoted me a price of $260 They didnt want to be responsible for messing up a tire he said Went to another town close by and had them mounted for $24. But because he didnt have the right weights for the wheels, I had to take them to another shop for balancing. That cost me around $50. But in the end, I think it was worth it
