  1. No, I think the only old Holley that comes close is the one for Pinto's and/or Vega's. And I definately would buy from a seller with 66.7% feedback.
  2. Keep a points disty handy. When the big one hits, just swap out
  3. Times change. And sometimes that means vehicles also. If and when I ever get a WRX, its going to be old with high miles. Just like all my Soobs have been. Unless the price of gas keeps going up. Then I might be in the market for a 360
  4. I said it. The old digi dashes are extremely sensitive to any flucuation in current. If the XT6 alt had a rebuild done to it (new internal reg, diodes) and the DD had some new upgraded parts, it would probably not be a problem. The alternative I gave her was to convert it to analog.
  5. If he was a board member, I'm sure we would have seen pics of it by now! Follow it home next time
  6. http://toys.search.ebay.com/subaru_Models-Kits_W0QQcatrefZC12QQfcclZ1QQfclZ4QQfromZR10QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQsacatZ1188QQsapplZ1
  7. Just use the wires from the AT switch to the switch thats on the 4wd lever. And the rear seal on these engines rarely leak. If its not leakin, dont mess with it! :-p
  8. I believe this is related to your problem in your previous thread. You need to get it checked out by a tranny shop with good references. Theres not to many things Bosch that I would put on/in my car and a oil filter is certainly one I wouldnt use. Wix, Purolator, Napa Gold. And definitely not Fram.
  9. The only wiring you have to worry about is the neutral safety switch. I think if you take the switch under the shifter and add a jumper, your good to go. Its alot of work to do the swap, but its worth it.
  10. Oops, meant to send you a PM last night. One coming now.
  11. Wheres the mirrors? And I didnt know she had a JDM XT6? :-p Looks just like the real one
  12. I keep the pressure plate bolts a little loose. That way if it starts to fight me the clutch will move to help get it lined up with the bearing. The bolts can be tightend thru the starter hole. Also put some bearing grease on the tip of the tranny shaft.
  13. Patrick, that sounds just like Psyko's engine in his XT-T. It went south last week sometime. But yours does sound a tad worse :-p It certainly sounds like a spun bearing, on both engines.
  14. Its hard for me to tell because of the lighting and angles and the differences are subtle. The 80 to 84 wagon wheel types would not work on Subaru's from 85 up. Thats the way it is here in the US.
  15. Wheels look nice, but were not designed to fit your car. You might have a problem with the front brake caliper hitting the wheel, if you have vented rotors.
  16. Should be on the road shortly, Briggs is on his way. Depending traffic we should be up ther about 10:30-11. I'll give you a call on the way up Chris.
  17. Mine has a hot wire MAF. Its all in how you prep the filter. Dont have to drown the thing in solution and dont do frequent cleanings.
  18. Update? Pics? Russ is getting a new bike in less than 2 weeks. We should get a cruise together. You Russ Austin Noah Me Wonder who else on the board locally has a bike?
  19. I have a K&N in my RX. I have gained at least 100hp from it and have had no problems with my MAF in the 15K its been on. 50% of what I just said is true
  20. Good luck trying to find a good set, they are more than uber rare. I did find something that was close to matching from JCWhitney and got a sample from them. But never did order any. I think the 68/69 Camero has the same type of strip.
  21. Frank, I might have a compressor and a rear shock. I'll see what I can find today.
  22. Catchy phrase right there. Does this forum say Subaru Meet and Greet Only? No, I didnt think so.
  23. Wont be alone, got 2 other grunts, I mean guys coming too. Going to be Wed or Thurs, fairly early.
  24. Wow Austin, that thing looks sweet And welcome back :-p I do hope you keep it stock....
