  1. Probably, but its awfully expensive. I would try calling a Subaru shops to see if the ones above will work or not. PIA Smart Service AWD Auto Outback Automotive These are all in the Puget Sound area.
  2. Your better off going EJ, lots of work to make the ER fit. Lot more benefits from going EJ also. Aftermarket support, etc. I would get all the running gear from the 6 for sure, but thats it.
  3. It probably just needs re-jetting. Might be able to find out the right jets from Redline.
  4. The only big blue Brat I know is Mr. Brat's. Dont know if he was down there, he lives east of Tacoma. Never underestimate a Brat
  5. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-SUBARU-WRX-OEM-MANUAL-ECU-ENGINE-COMPUTER-UNIT-/370495334716?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ASubaru|Year%3A2002|Model%3AImpreza&hash=item56433e293c Its from a 2002, you will have to find out if it will work or not. You can also search this forum for it. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=167 Found another one, on CL. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/2353725043.html
  6. I've got a couple actually. You know how to get a hold of me
  7. It might be the same size. And a lot more work. You will need the up pipe flange and the down pipe flange welded to existing stuff to make it work. I have a EJ22T turbo I can sell cheap.
  8. If you look at the one thats on ebay, it has a sharper curve then the RX does. Not sure if that can be flattened out or not. I'm currently doing a search for the Toyota MKll Supra roof spoiler, there might be a aftermarket one available. http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/pts/2350907151.html
  9. Seriously? ALL of the knowledge (initially)? You have contributed nothing to this thread other than to say one would have to steal a item to see if it would fit
  10. Front end Imp stuff will work, but nothing from the rear. Altho there was someone (PoorManzImpreza) a few years back that made a template for a adapter plate to make Imp rear hubs work, not to many have done it yet. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=96674
  11. Maybe you werent looking in the right forum? Try searching here for 5 lug swap. I would help out but its not easy on my phone.
  12. Probably the only way to even look to see if any of its still available, is to know someone in Japan or go over there yourself. The Brochures are quite obsolete. I'm pretty sure FHI purged all these old parts out of the warehouse years ago. The only way to do this is to retrofit from another make/model. Years ago I did see one in the junkyard on a Toyota, probably a Supra.
  13. Guys guys guys.....if you have no clue, keep your trap shut! I know exactly what he's talking about and he's right about some of the late model Subaru's have a Roof Vane or Wind Deflector at the TOP of the back window. Oh hey, look.....it was a optional item from Subaru I believe the Toyota Celica of that same era also had one. And btw, I have been trying to figure something out for this for about a year now. I'll let you know what I come up with.
  14. I've gotten chicken and/or soft in my old age Maybe one of these days I'll follow you up that trail
  15. He may choose to hang out till the wee hours of the morning. Then head back to his hotel room and comfy bed. I know of a few people that have done this. Even at my age, I still sleep in a tent
  16. Just unplug them one at a time, then check to see what works and what doesnt. Kind of like common sense.
  17. Sounds like the front diff went. If it was the trans it would do it in 2wd or 4wd I would think.
  18. I'm finding that with my EJ22T swap I really dont need a D/R trans. Plus when on the freeway my rpm's are over 3k at 65mph. I plan on going to a EJ trans soon. And all pull type EJ clutch discs will work for a EA trans/flywheel. Not really much of a improvement, but if you have the $ for a better disc then it would pay off. I dont have any info on the EA81T pistons, but I bet Ram Engines would. Or Wiseco, I know they made a special batch (forged) for a ER27 a few years back.
