Wait, I just realized its a EA81. I'm rechecking... The drive gear is on the end of the crank, behind the seal. It will be a pita to check.....

Remove the valve cover and check the gear on the cam.

Part numbers are different in the book for the turbo's and XT6. I believe its for diameter and not length tho.

The bulb connections are different, so it will mean changing the sockets to match. As far as I know, theres no bulb that fits which is brighter.

The 3AT is notorious for have the governor getting apple-cored. Theres a write up in the USRM about it.

I added the location and stuff in the first post. Plus fixed the map link, it was to some podunk town in Missouri.

The starter is not on the other side, its the same. If you swap a EA82 5spd in, you will need to change the strut rod plates. They are part of the front trans mounting points.

I might unlock this later, but I doubt it I cleaned things up, there will be no more talk of the incident (tickets). Post your pics and keep it clean or the hammer comes down.

I made a airbox for my CAI out of a computer case. Very stout metal and its a good size to work with.
