  1. Thats what the owner of that Legacy GT wagon told me. I'm sure it would be different in yours, so maybe a backing piece might be needed. Is this for a EA82 wagon or Legacy?
  2. Ok, got some pics at night. Not the greatest, the pics dont do them justice. Low beams. Hi beams. And up against white tarps of my canopy. I need to fine tune the adjustments yet.
  3. Take some new wire and make a temp connection, that will tell you if the wiring is bad. Just replace with new wire after that.
  4. Wood laminate. What, you think I'm kidding? Not that hard, just get the peel and stick stuff.
  5. Full time is much better than on the fly. Its always there, no worry about trying to throw it in 4wd when it could be too late. You should have a LSD rear diff, which makes it even better. But you do need to be careful on ice, as it will throw your rear end out quite easily.
  6. Please do a search/research first. Theres a post about that still on this page I believe.
  7. Before everyone else chimes in, I will say it.....NO, dont do it. Look up EA82T here and then decide, you will probably change your mind. And do more research before resurrecting a 7yr old thread please.
  8. So it looks like this? You really dont want to swap a EA82T into it. Learn all you can about what you have right now and just drive it and enjoy it. Then you can think about mods, w/e. Yeah, that would be a nice swap. But like I said before, now would not be a good time for it.
  9. Those dont look like they'll break easy
  10. Hey Albie, good to see your still around and making stuff. You going to make it to WCSS13? (Stevenson)
  11. Actually, your better off upgrading to a Legacy or Impreza.
  12. Thats the most direct route there from the north. So yeah, a lot of us will be going that way.
  13. No construction or loud noises after 10pm. Most counties have noise ordinances. It really doesnt effect vehicles, but mine is louder than most newer cars. 80dB at 50ft is the max (In WA) and mines not that loud. I dont want to rustle this womans feathers, she's threatened to call the county on me before for my "collection". But I'm cool with the HOA and the bylaws, you cant see anything from the street. Cant wait to move out of this place and to somewhere I can build a shop, with neighbors that are more than a few hundred feet away. Any more questions about this, please PM me. I want to keep the thread uncluttered.
  14. Sure, I got a crappy cell phone pic so far. So far, its 100% better than any EA82 OEM lighting. Actually better than most new gen stuff too. The RX isnt my daily and I dont get out with it much at night right now. Just going to have to wait till I get some pics. I would do it at home, but by the time its dark here its past 10pm. And I've already had my ******y neighbor yell at me for running my car while adjusting them, and that was only 9:30pm (yes, I know the law, its 10pm). If I do they will cost $$$$. Buyer will have to provide lights and projectors too. I already had visions (not good ones either) of glass lenses stacked on shelves. Either ready for work or broken
  15. I would keep my eye out for a shop that is shutting down. It would have all the dies and accessories already. Yes, I know its not new but you might get lucky and find a good quality unit for a reasonable price. I'll look around and see if theres anything out there. Did a quick search on CL and found this... http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/tls/2497259189.html
  16. The kit comes with sealant. 2 tubes of it to be exact and I only used half of one.
  17. You could also use injectors from a Mitsubishi Eclipse (turbo)
  18. You dont need to be stuck to take pics. Just go out and get some good wheeling shots.
  19. Looks more like a standard EA82T injector to me.
  20. I'll probably be a couple hours ahead of you, plan on leaving late morning.
  21. It depends. With the LED's in my front signals they blink fast because of the different wattage. I could put a resistor in, but the quicker flashing doesnt bother me. I would use the red bulbs for the brakes and white for signals.
