  1. Even better.... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=103009
  2. Seeing that the rotor isnt spinning, thats about as close as you can get for proof. But you can pull off the drivers side timing belt cover to be 100% certain.
  3. If you have the flapper door MAF, forget about doing this. If theres a way (there might be) to swap a 87+ ECU and hot wire MAF in, then theres hope.
  4. Florida has salt water on 2 sides. I've seen the results of what that can do. We even had a member here with a late 80's sedan that you could put your fist thru some of the panels. Found the thread... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=78292
  5. Yup, I missed the "various exhaust setups" But in my defense, you didnt mention the cat till now :-p I'll have to take a look at the FSM to be certain, but I dont think theres a sock on the EA81's. What about the charcoal canister?
  6. I have a feeling that a 83 convert in Florida will have some serious rust issues.
  7. Most of the info is available on the Momo website, except they dont show that adapter. I would contact them if you want prices. http://www.momousa.com
  8. When you cleaned the tank did you look at the sock and suction tube for blockage? I didnt see any mention of exhaust work, did you check to see if the cat was plugged?
  9. Its very common to have the hose split. Its just a pita to put a new hose on. Use a hi temp hose or you will be doing it again soon.
  10. Thought I would post this up for our locals in the PNW. Big event put on by NWMotiv for Toys for Tots. http://www.nwmotiv.com/toydrive
  11. Ah, I assumed it meant drilling new holes. If its just like a EJ flywheel (duh) all thats needed is to hog some of the holes.
  12. He said he wants to keep the old transaxle, so it would be the EA82 4EAT. I wouldnt redrill the flexplate, its thin enough as it is. Having that many holes close together would be asking for trouble. I would see if the EJ flexplate would fit in the bellhousing first.
  13. No, the XT6 does not have a D/R in it, just fulltime 4wd. Fulltime D/R didnt come out till 88 in the RX 3dr and 4dr.
  14. I'vr grenaded a couple of front diffs like this. Broken teeth off the ring gear and the grease will sling them up and they catch in the teeth that are still left. Easiest thing to do is replace the trans.
  15. Rockauto.com Some will say get oem seals, so try 1stsubaruparts.com
  16. Older Mitsubishi Eclipse turbo. Not sure exact year. A lot of fabbing to make them fit also.
