  1. Yep should plug right in.Shouldn't be much differences if any on the wiring.
  2. You might just want to try taking your tail light covers off of the car and clean them in some soapy water and them rinse them really well.Sometimes just needs some cleaning.Make sure you let them dry first before you put them on again.
  3. Sounds like clutch pack to me.Is your car manual or auto? Also how many miles could be a good indication.Do you hear any noise when you are driving with the windows down?Mostly for the solenoid either they work or they don't.Since it sounds like it is trying to grab then I would lean more towards the clutch.
  4. I hear delta cams has quick turnaround and they do good work.I guess you just need to figure what rpm range you would like to have most of your power.
  5. How fast were you going?I know alot of american cars that get dinged up alot worse than Japanese cars like :chevy cavalier(crapalier).
  6. Very nice.I like them both.Is that the factory color red on the legacy ss?
  7. Welcome.Enjoy the plethora of knowlege that awaits you.
  8. For higher compression. I was worried that the stock HG wouldn't take it if I nocked 50 thou off of each head along with ea71 pistons. That's why.I am figuring with that much off of each head I would sit somewhere close to 11:1.BTW I already realize the stock intake won't bolt up. Anyone know if the stock HG will take the kind of compression I am talking about?I know Qman built a strong ea81 maybe I should ask him.
  9. I emailed this guy and he said that he could make a set of ea81 hg out of copper for $190.Is that a good price?Maybe if others need them we could get a group deal? Here is his reply.Seems very willing to help. Jerry- We can make you copper a copper gasket. The cost will be $190. It will take about 2 days to make. If you would like us to go ahead and get started on it, just let us know. 205-823-5045 Jon at PAECO http://by105fd.bay105.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/compose?curmbox=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001&a=8c235bdef61bff89143307da1d994fa8764b825e40de63956cfc051cc333be44&mailto=1&to=paeco@hiwaay.net&msg=10A20B33-6137-4610-A0AA-5F784F7F3A0A&start=0&len=2065&src=&type=x
  10. Welcome!Glad to see someone else in colorado.I am in wheatridge.Always good help to be found here. How big of a lift do you want to put on your Loyale?Alied armament is a good starting point for your car for a good lift. www.alliedarmament.com
  11. I agree. In some cases you may have a worn seat and your float won't be able to do its job the way it should.Or I have seen on some the float may develope a pin hole in it and it will get filled over time and fuel logged and then you will definately be getting too much fuel.Either way something is definately worn out. I would start in the needle&seat area as well as the float.Good luck.
  12. I didn't think to ask them.Totally slipped my mind.Thank you.
  13. I realize its something that a company just doesn't make.I have checked at custom machine shops but they said maybe atleast a couple hundred for them to be built.
  14. I had a funny idea for when you are driving around.Rig something up so you can inject seafoam into the intake of the carb so that the car would let out a cloud of smoke at any given time.I must be crazy.
  15. I am wondering if anyone has this available.Either for higher compression or a turbo motor head gasket.Someone has to have made this. Also copper exhaust gasket? Thanks.
  16. very true. There is a turbo shop located not too far from me here in colorado and they do turbo overhaul and sell new turbos as well.Just thought you may want to check out their web site. They are called turbo engineering. http://www.turboengineering.com/
  17. Very nice pics. That mudhole has some really red mud in it.very cool.
  18. The company I work for just got 2 used '05 outback xt's for our fleet and upon my general inspection I noticed that they have totally different intake manifold set up. One mfg date is 11/04 and the other is 2/05.I realize that there may be some difference just because of the dates. Both of them are the EJ25 N/A motors.I guess the real reason I am inquiring is just that I am curious. Both are very awesome cars.I was glad that my slight persuasion to the executive board ended up in 2 subarus to the fleet.Yay!I would much rather work on subes anyway.
  19. I for one hate the ford freestyle as much as the magnum.I think the technology the companies that build these cars are aracaic compared to subaru. For starters the Ford freestyle is based on a volvo chassis and then they go and throw the hunk of crap taurus v6 in it.I was not impressed.
  20. I saw a nice hatch for sale in good shape but it is 2wd.I just thought I would see how hard it is to convert it over to 4wd.I realize I will need to change the tranny and put in a rear diff and drive shaft and the tank is different. I just wanted to see if there are all the mounting holes underneath of the 2wd as there is on the 4wd like for the rear mustache bar.I know that the 2wd won't have the lights on the dash for the when the 4wd is active. What else am I forgeting?
  21. KBD your wagon looks awesome.I could see some of turboxt's brat off to the left in the picture, glad to see the tranny swap worked well.Wish I could of been there.Looks great.
  22. Sorry all that I didn't make it. I ended up getting really sick friday night and have a hard time talking,so I wasn't able to call any of you in the area to cancel.Really wanted to go.
  23. Give some specifics. Wagon or sedan?Turbo or N/A? Awd?And mileage all play factors as well as the type of transmision Auto or manual.Let us know.
