  1. I can relate to that.I lived in soldotna for 18 years and the cabin that my parents bought with 10 acres was only $35k.I could never justify spending over 250k on a house.Just not my style.
  2. I can't seem to find the pics, but are you refering to the one with the rear spoiler that went around part of the rear hatch window?I think it was McBrat who posted a pic of one a while back.I am not sure if it was him or not that had the pic of the one you are refering to.Was it black or a dark brown with orange and white stiping?
  3. I just got home from work and the FedEx guy showed up with a box from Mick(McBrat) containing my dual carbs and intake!I opened the box and it was a very beautiful thing. Thanks for packing it up so well.I think it could have survived a huricane.Just kidding. Thanks for sending the intake. It arrived looking just like it did in the pictures. Now I have a new center piece for the table till I get my suby to put it in. Big thumbs up to McBrat!
  4. That is what my first asumtion would be is that it is triggered by mileage.
  5. That is really cool.Hopefully when I get my ea81 together I will be close to that.
  6. Sounds like you may have a bad ground with your radio. Is it stock or aftermarket? Also what car is it that you have?Your starter may have a bad ground too,or maybe the contacts are worn on the starter and that may cause it to stick.Goodluck.
  7. Could also be a plugged fuel filter. If yours has never been changed I would check that too.My second guess is the coolant temp sensor.I would definately try the fuel filter or the O2 sensor first though.Good luck.
  8. Thats great. What motor did you do the work on? Ea82 or EJ22?
  9. Yes it's interconnected.I know this because I had an intake off before and was cleaning it with water in one end and it came out of the water port for the carb.
  10. I would be interested. Can you get any pics of them?
  11. Not too sure on that one.You may just have to put a big WRX or STI scoop on there to make more room.Just kidding.I really think it would fit just may be a squeeze up near the front.
  12. Welcome! There is always more room for ladies like yourself that like subies and rally. It is good to see you got a really nice car.I really like rally myself. Are you planning on racing your car?
  13. I am getting my dual carb intake sent to me right now.I do know that it is a good idea to try to Sync the carbs together so they both open the same amount as the other. Also trying to get the jetting the same. Also setting the idle.Vac lines should be about the same depending upon what carby pair you choose. Not much else is different I think.I will have to see when I get it.
  14. I know that Mcbrat had done this on his brat.He hooked one side to pcv and a small filter on the other.I have seen these small filters at many auto parts stores.
  15. Looks nice.I like the subaru air filter. What did you get the hoodscoop from?I like that too.
  16. You don't have to use sealer while doing intake gaskets, but I have used it before just to make perfectly sure it would seal without trouble.I recomend the permatex high temp copper stuff.Works good.Good luck
  17. Can I follow behind with my gas R/C WRX? Haha That would be funny!
  18. Hi all I am looking to see just how much duration you can run on an ea81 cam.I am interested to see how far I can go.I am looking to have delta cams build me a fairly lumpy cam. Also who knows where to get stronger valve springs?Anyone who has experience with this please let me know. Thanks in advance.
  19. That is helarious about the christmas colors. Now I just need to get you a power inverter so we can put some christmas lights around your front brushguard. I will have to come see your car soon.
  20. That is awsome Rick! I am glad you have rear axles in there now. That rollbar looks pretty good in your vehicle. Can you get a nice articulation pic from the back of your Grabber Green Diff. I think that it is an awsome addition to all the other stuff you did to your brat. Hey I really like the seats in there too.Looks really good. -Just givin ya a hard time about your diff.Cause someone has to.
  21. You may want to pull off your egr and soak it in some seafoam or something. Also check out your pcv valve.I would definately pour seafoam down the throat of your carby and let it work itself in and then fire it up and then suck some seafoam through one of your vac tubes to your intake.I would say first try the seafoam down the carb and go from there. Also may want to check your accelerator pump.
  22. Seats were suprisingly good aside from a usual tear on drivers side.Seats are blue.Dash is sun cracked.Carpet and rear seat looked good as well as inner door panels.I couldn't find the engine code on the block so I couldn't tell what type it was.Motor was really complete with Ac compressor and all.
  23. I agree with a bit of lift.Beefy knobby tires on it and a loud exhaust and don't forget RFL BOV!
  24. I agree with Shawn.Different cam on the brat compared to the hatch.More duration=more torque.
