  1. Cool, That would be great... Also looking forward to your new Gen I Brat shirt... -Daniel
  2. Are you doing a second run of these? My wife wants one.... XL size (she also wants a real 360...) -Daniel
  3. I really like it... Except, needs to have the Front bumper Bar and show the suspension on the front more realistically and Add the little Hood vents and front fender lights... And I do agree with Car Freak... Eliminate the Flames or Make the flames smaller... But Man, That is Awesome!!!!! I will want to Buy a few of them.... Also make two versions!!! a DL and GL head light setup.... I am one of the Few people that Likes the simple two light setup... :-\ And on the back of the shirt, something like 1980 Subaru Brat 4WD 1600cc EA71 H4 with the old subaru logo... (or something better) Would be awesome!!! Also would make a nice Color decal... -Daniel
  4. New Exhaust, 2.5" with old magnaflow (And went offroading!!!).... Also finally got rid of the horrible stock air box and installed the Webber Air Box on the Hitachi carb... Also Installed Hi Roll Bar and Moved ammo can tool boxes because of the new roll bar... I need to make some metal bottom brackets for the boxes though as they 2x4's are not doing so well. Also Fixed my camber issue with a used set of struts!!!!!!! Strut was bent like a dog leg... only bad thing is my front end is now about 1" lower as these new struts are not adjustable... -Daniel
  5. Where you able to get pictures? -Daniel
  6. Thats real nice... Looks like a clean outback... -Daniel
  7. When I first got my brat, it did this, Was some VERY bad bearings on one hub... -Daniel
  8. I can believe it, My 03 Nissan Frontier, All of a sudden on day, Had One lug nut missing and the center cap missing. I was like, damn! Wish I would have caught the punk! But thats weird that all of them were loose enough to actually do that, When I towed the 78 Parts brat home, It only had two lug nuts on each of the rear wheels. Several studs were missing as well. Towed it with a dolly for like 30 miles. -Daniel
  9. Take it to a Subaru Dealer.... My Dad just took his 2002 Legacy Outback into get the oil changed at 96,000 at Subaru of Plano. They informed him that the Head gaskets were leaking. She said that this engine has a Block Casting defect and that Subaru would repair it free of Charge. They are changing out the head gaskets now. So I would take it in, Have them change the oil, They will check to see if there is oil floating in the coolant or if there is coolant in the oil... either way there is chance you will get free head gaskets. -Daniel
  10. Thanks. Ya, I may have found one more good spot as well... But we shall see. -Daniel
  11. I am interested... Would like to see pictures... -Daniel
  12. I have an Idea... Dont know if it will work, but When my RC cars got that way, we cleaned with Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and compressed air, it would make sand and dirt fall right out of the head fins..... although this may not work on such a large project.... -Daniel
  13. Sweet... I wish I had nice trails like that here! -Daniel
  14. Make sure you watch in High quality and with the sub turned up (new exhaust) it really cuts off the bass resonance in the exhaust if not watched in High Quality mode. Please watch my new Brat off road video here: ya ya ya, its kinda lame by the standards set but certain other offroaders in the forum... does anyone know of any good spots in the dfw area? (besides for the one on 360...) And I don't have any friends with 4x4s... so I have to wheel alone...:-\ But doesn't the new exhaust sound good? -Daniel
  15. Great, I vote for a 4" Kit. your kits like like they are very well made. -Daniel
  16. haha, Ya, When I got my 1980 Subaru Brat, I didnt know anything about brats.... It was running, but backfiring and out the carb and all crazy!!!! then I found that two plug wires ere reversed! Been fine ever since! Love your Beetle!!!! That is going to be pretty quick as well... -Daniel
  17. Bill, You make Gen I Kits? I am about ready to get a Kit for my 1980 Brat. What sizes do they come in for Gen 1 and how much do they sell for? Thanks. -Daniel
  18. They did, but I think it was only military... as subaru has the first Boxer diesel for passenger cars. -Daniel
  19. my 1992 Mercury Grand Marque has 68,000 Original miles on it. Good car but was one of the first cars to get the new Ford overhead cam V8, eats oil like crazy, not enough to smoke or cause emissions problems, but eats more oil than my brat....
  20. Wow that looks like a simple setup. Looks like it would work good though. -Daniel
  21. Ya I have seen that Before, a Fixed, non folding unit could be built fairly easy. Does a long steel steak beat into the ground work at all? -Daniel
  22. Have searched around, but not found a whole lot. What do you guys use for Land anchors? And I am mostly interested in the No cost / Low cost ones. Thanks. -Daniel
  23. How do you like the torque grind vs stock? I am assuming it is similar to a chevy V8 tow truck grind... I am thinking about my EA71 rebuild. Thanks. OK, One more question, what RPM do you guys run when you do a HP grind??? 7 or 8k? Will the regrinds hold up under the pressure of racing valve springs? -Daniel
  24. Oh and Love your avatar.. What would you do if you had a million dollars?
