Anyone know where I can get either a new decal or an image file to have a new one cut?

im also intrested if anyone could get some info posted i would be greatful.

Thanks,

Shean

Try some of the online decal sites. Won't be "stock" but you can get some pretty cool looking "4x4" or "4 Wheel Drive" and what not for cheap aftermarket style....

I bought one for my '85 from the dealer, I don't remember what they cost but they were pretty cheap.

Whoever finds them please consider having Corky get more made.If you come across several of them I want one too.

I HAVE seen a lot of 4X4 stickers available online, BUT if someone either gets a bunch of these or makes some count me in for a few!

How about an EA81 4WD sticker? Its in the same font as the EA82 one but is raised, textured, and red text on a black background. The wagon ones are curved and won't fit, but the hatch ones do. :)

I bought one from the dealer (it was pretty cheap).

I'll scan it before I apply it, that way we can hopefully reproduce them easier.

hmm.. I need to get a "4WD Turbo" sticker for my hatch since my wagon has a Loyale hatch on it so it just says "4WD".. Also need new "4WD Turbo" decals for the side... I wonder if I could still get those from the dealer....

I'll be able to reproduce at my work... and since Syphon is my best bud... we'll get everyone setup ;)

I happen to know that Carter has at least one of the OEM decals in stock...(the ea82 style) I put it in its little bin when i was putting stock away.... should be around or under the $10 mark.....

Apparently they didn't have the correct color for an '85.

The dude at the parts counter said that an '85 came with either black/white or orange, and neither one of those was in stock.

I know some of the newer ones are red... or blue... or whatever, but in the interest of keeping my car pretty stock, I just ordered the same color it had before.

Gee Tex, you are to be one of my sources for decal reproductions if I ever get the stash from Billy. I believe that I got the last RX side decals a in the USA and Japan a couple of years ago, and dummy me, I didn't get them copied :banghead: I swore that if I every got any more decals, I'd keep one set as a master. So far I have the 4WD TURBO side decal in red, and a few others, maybe ever the rear one you are looking for. If I do, I'll get with Tex and see what he can do.

Did they have Turbo side decals in White? Cuz I'm thinkin of paintin my wagon black, and it would be kinda hard to use black decals on a black car :-P

If I have an original, I can get one made in any color.

"4WD Turbo" rear sticker.....

when you(Corky and TEX) get together and make up some rear ones.... add me to the list (shrugs)

Count me in on the stickers..

Mine is faded out too just like the first post

I'd really like the big 4X4 sticker that goes on the back 1/4 panel...

that'd be the shizzznit

Wow, my old thread was brought back from the dead!

I feel bad because I never ended up buying that decal, I sold the car for almost twice what I paid for it without replacing the sticker :-)

man, i could use one that has the Awd turbo lettering on it, i've seen them on the backs of some of the turbo wagons like mine, not sure why i don't have one.

These dead threads being resurfaced is really annoying. Mostly because they bump current threads off the first page.
