February 4, 201313 yr what year and model is this beauty? That would be a bumperless '74 DL Sedan... (If I recall correctly, a '75 and '76 would look the same)
February 4, 201313 yr Here's some more eye candy for you then.... And because I love a good GSR shot... Edited February 5, 201313 yr by Leeroy
February 6, 201313 yr Thought you might like this... (This car competed in 1972 and 1973) A 73' Subaru GL Coupe was brought over from Japan for rallying by Noriyuki Koseki. His efforts were part of the initial rallying in America for Subaru. Found this here: Perhaps I own one of these factory prepped ex-racers: My car was found in the NM/AZ desert by the prior owner, he said, "It had no engine/trans/rear/interior and was on it's roof... Vintage BAJA Plaque: Very rare fender and trunk lip:

February 13, 201313 yr I thought I'd seen it before, but didn't remember a thread. Thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/122294-finally-picked-it-up-1976-subaru-coupe/ No prob. Yeah, I'd love to do updates, but the car is in Missouri and I'm in Ireland... I'm hoping to pay off my bills within the next couple months and then pull the trigger on this... I'll bump up the thread when I get some progress done... The problems are: I found it in a barn in Missour.. 1. Need title to import to Ireland: (The prior owner lost it 25-30 years ago during the move to Missouri. In 2011, he contacted California's DMV- where he originally titled it, they refused to go through microfiche slides, "Retention is 20 years only after last title transfer...") 2. Need car to pass inspection to get title replaced through a title company. 3. Needs mostly restored to pass inspection And to keep on topic.... Barnfind pic! February 13, 201313 yr Looks like a great restoration project; even if it's not one of the original rally cars (Ask Subaru competition dept), you couls make an excellent replica!
