Wow, thats awesome... props for saving another soob... alot of people would have scrapped it.

Car looks great but polish up those rims man. Every time I see your car it looks sooooo good then I see the rims and they are just covered in brake dust. Are you using a really dusty pad. Curiosity is just killing me.

I'm sure most pads would generate that much dust if Will is driving :)

Nice work dude!

dude if i ever hit somthing i am calling oyu that is awsome it looks like it was just driven of the showroom except for the rims

what is the lever behind your shifter for?

Looks awesome, Will. Congratulations on an awesome job.

[That lever is the Hi/Lo selector for the FT4WD D/R transmisson - damn I want one.]

SWWWWWEEEEEEEETTTT! Looks like it never hit that tree:banana:

YAY another Soob saved from the crusher:grin:

This is an autocross car...and daily driver right now.

I'm WAY too hard on the brakes for wheels to ever be clean. :banghead:

you could always get those dust covers that go under the rim.

the plan is to stick the good hooisers on the white rims, the other hooisers on the set thats on there now...I have another set of rims like that with Khumos already on them....and put streets on the steelies i have and run the stock RX wheel covers.

eh, just scrub the rims really good, then use a high quality wax on em, that will keep the brake dust from sticking so easily and make em easier to wash the next time.

Thats soooooooo sweet:headbang:. Good work man, about how long did the tear down / rebuild process take?

What is your steering column gauge pod made for? Who makes it? Any modification required?

took 2 months....with about 60 hours of actual work in it.

uumm....16.5 maybe? lol Its slow right now.

Bravo! Nice work and pictures. That was worthwhile and probably a lot less work/hassle than parting it out and building a new car.
