March 22, 200620 yr I'm clearing out all my EJ parts... So I can get back to my roots. The EA82T. No mistakes this time.
March 22, 200620 yr well well well, about time you decided to come back. I think I've realized that the dark side of Subarus is the EA82 side. Especially turbos;) Oh, I might have a cheap source for EA82 headstuds. I love having machinest as friends, especially when they have the heat treating connections;)
March 22, 200620 yr you won't be able to ignore the siren song of the EJ forever, you'll be back. Thats why I have one of each, its the best way to go. welcome back

March 22, 200620 yr <TANGENT> So, what about those headstuds...what's gunna be special about them? <END TANGENT>
March 22, 200620 yr Real Subaru Lovers, Loves Specially the EA82! But All of them are Fine I Love the Sound of a Weberized EA82 Screaming Aloud... You Know... But EJ are OK too...
March 23, 200620 yr Author I like to think of myself as being "well-rounded" 1993 EJ22 1988 EA82 1983 EA81 haha... I've owned a WRX, 2.5 RS, and I've had the current Legacy(96 outback wagon) thru all of them. Plus, I get to drive STi's usually every day. Its rather boring after awhile.
March 23, 200620 yr I was thinking,...If you get 115hp of a turbo ea82t that had a non boosted hp output of 94hp What if you got a ram4 engine ( yes it is an ea81) that gets a supposed 140hp with just mpfi, imagine how it would go with boost? http://www.ramengines.com/ Power.......140hp@5700\140lbs torque@3500 Just a thought i had
March 23, 200620 yr Will, good to have you back bro. Your research and part finding ability are invaluable. Plus, I knew you deep down that you couldn't give up on the EA82T! Patrick
March 23, 200620 yr Hey Will, do you think it is possible to have 160-170 AWHP on a VF7? I have some big plans, which will also include a FMIC, larger diameter exhaust, larger injectors, etc. What do you think?

Yes, I already did it. 165hp/225tq to the wheels with stock VF7, STi TMIC, intake, full TWE exhaust and 14.5 PSI.
