snow plow

Hey Everybody This is Jerry, oh what a lucky day. I have been working on this plow sence july and i got it today. It is a subaru snow plow for a gen 1 brat. The guy used it 1 year and the brat got totaled in the summer so it sat in the shop until i got it today. Looks almost new and the price real cheap. I am going to set it up for my lifted hatch. Thanks Jerry

sweet, saw that in a movie once, think it was in "out cold" guy had a snow plow on an old charger. So will you oe plow my driveway for me now?

Who was the original manufacturer, and what does it weigh? I met a guy up here who says he can fab up a receiver for my Brat for hos brand of plows, but the 6'8" plow (Blizzard) for it weighs 480 lbs.

Hey Matt,

If you wanna plow your driveway, just buy a little Kubota tractor! Those things are so much fun, and probably the one thing that goes through snow better than a subaru.

And I can't imagine that much weight on the front of your brat would be good for it. You might check into one of those plows that have a steel edge and frame, but the entire moldboard is made of plexiglass. Those are probably a lot lighter.

Thanks for the heads up. I already bought a Blizzard for my Ford. If you make it up my drive, you'll see it there. Before that, I was plowing with my 4 wheeler.

Today is the first day you can use that snow plow too hurry and get it on there and take some pics so we can all see.

Hi everybody This is Jerry, the blade is yellow and the frame is painted black and the wench that picks up the blade is a warren. It was set up for the tow bar front bumper the big heavy bumper like Qman had for sale. The back part of the frame mounts to the back side of the engine cross member. The plow is not that heavy i can pick it up blade and frame and it's all metal. I am going to mount it to my lifted hatch. Thanks Jerry

Please post some pics and dimensions. Maybe a board member (Shawn ?) would want to start fabbing them? I'm sure there'd be some interest.

It came with a wench??!! What a deal! I would think they would come with a winch.

Sheesh, Phatbrat, you beat me to it! :D:lol:

hell yeah I need one of those cause they're sooo cool.....maybe I'll have to go find one:banana:

Hi everybody This is Jerry, the plow dose tilt but it is manaul it gose right and to the left. The plow looks alot like the bottom picture. The plow weights about 150lbs. The wench on the plow just picks up the blade and lets it down and it has a long control cable so you can operate it inside of the car. Thanks Jerry
