How much should I pay for an LSD both in and out of a Differential. If I find one in a 3.7 diff and if I find one already out? I know I have to convert it to my 3.9 but what is a fair price? Let me know what you guys think? Thanks, John

$60-$100 if you harvest yourself @ a you-pull style yard.

 

On the market i've seen them go upwards of $800 for a 4.11

I've personally sold one for about 400 bucks on FeeBay.

 

So it all depends on how you go aboot it

$500 if you want to buy one from me...lol....a few years ago you could still buy them new for $800. haven't checked if that's still true.

 

you can expect to pay $100 - $300 for one. the longer you're willing to wait, look around, spend your time, and search for one the less you'll have to pay. so it depends mostly what your time is worth.

unfortunately it is a seller's market for LSDs... I've sold a few 4.11 converted LSDs on Ebay for $500-$700.

I just sold 2 clutch LSDs to board members. one 3.90 and one 3.70.

$130 each.

That would be a fair deal. If I see someone trying to sell a LSD for 500 bucks here on the USMB. . . I'm gonna push real hard for the admins to ban his rump roast.

They are worth what somebody is willing to pay for them. I've never sold one for more than $175... but Ive never paid more than $30 for one.

i have sold one for $200 before.....that was completely cleaned up,polished cover,new oem seals,and fresh fluid.so, i think it really depends on what condition you are purchasing it in.do you expect to have to reseal it?clean it up?etc.....cheers, brian
