Six Year Transformation....

Featured Replies

that looks tough! cool idea to show 1 pic from each year, nice Brat!

Such an awesome Brat. :slobber:

I couldn't imagine what it'll end up like if this course were to continue.

hover powered radar absorbent carbon fiber with a nuclear power cell

Wow, when my wagon grows up it wants to be that!

Looks like we have the same wheels though ;)

So, do we get to see any pictures of that thing flexed? I dont care, i will settle for poser shots of your tires lifted with an engine hoist! I dont care! I just wanna see what that thing articulates like.

Nothing wrong with liking a clean looking stock BRAT!!!

I like that pic too....

But Mick had the desire and method to do what he did to it.

I'm liking what it morphed into.

Nice job, start to finish, Mick.....

LOL I saw that brat and thought it looked familer

Reminds me I should build up my model brat:rolleyes:

I Really Like the Transformation...

Could I Kindly Suggest just a New Paint Job? ... That Brat would Look Better in a Fresh Finnish, but still Looks Very Nice like that!

Kind Regards.

He cant paint, its covered in decals and stickers.

You Might be a redneck if you mask off your stickers and decals when you repaint your rig.....

I love what the Brat has become, it truly is a real, full-size toy!

As George Carlin was fond of saying "Mammalian protruberances"! (insert appropriate 3 letter word)

Me, I'd like to see some underside pics. How did you split off the drive train? It looks like the rear has the auto style hubs such as Toyota used on the front when they didn't use the locking hubs. Sweet rig.

the rear is converted to a full floating axle using and adapter and a front hub/spindle and a drive flange.

Interesting rig although its a shame to do it to such a clean stock Brat.. There was a gen 1 in the area that the owner turned into a crawler as well, most dented/scraped up thing I have ever seen but unfortunately the owner thinks it is made of gold.

Rescue mission in the works for when I return to the states, handful of Brats I am going to make a go at if they are still there. Lost 3 to the salvage yard just while I have been gone alone :(

its a beast but now there isnt a straight panel on it.
