  1. That was completely unexpected, he was absolutely Healthy and Strong, he was driving some minutes before his heart decided to completely stop suddenly; he reached the Milestone of Fifty years of continous ownership of this Mercury, but we didn't the celebration voyage that we planned to go with all the Family... Thank so much to you both, for your kind words, which I really appreciate. I have stopped working on cars for a while... then I had to service the Automatic trans on the "KiaStein" while my Subie "BumbleBeast" keeps going on Strong without any issue, but my Mercury lies inert on the Garage... Looks like a Car that has been parked since new there, flawless but covered in Dust, the tires are loosing their air, they're at half pressure now, and despite of having a Compressor at home, I don't find the courage yet to touch it... I can't find the Courage to work on it, the new electric Fuel Pump and the eBay obtained exhaust gasket lies somewhere in the back seats, but someday I will take a Photo of the Rusted Fuse Box which really needs to be substituted, I want something modern in order to find fuse replacements easier... I'll share a Photo of it, here, as soon as I can. Please be Careful during this CoronaVirus Pandemic... Greetings and Blessings. JesZeK

  2. As carfreak said - not bolt in. Some custom mounts will be needed if it fits in the cavity at all. Cheers Bennie

  3. I used Loctite 518 flange sealant on mine but you can use Fuji Bond, Toyota Bond, etc just don't use rtv. There is no gasket between the case halves. There is a special oval shaped o-ring in there though.

  4. Depends on the injection system in the EA82. Carb'd tank will not have baffles. Not a direct replacement, but if you're lifting the wagon, you have a lot more real estate to make it work.

  8. It would. It took quite a bit of time to do then, and I was single, and working part time, and "going" to school....well, enrolled anyway. Got a wife, 2 kids, career, old house, and a couple dozen other projects, now. I like to stay active and see what people are doing, and offer help when I can, but I can't see me sitting down and re-doing the manual.
