I learned that ethanol is not favored by most when driving across Indiana last summer. Close to Muncie there were talks of setting up an ethanol production plant and every few miles one would see signs with a corn ear crossed out with "no ethanol" to some effect written under it. Really surprised me being it was corn country, you would have thought they would liked it.

They sell this stuff at Kroger, Food City, Wal-Mart and Pilot. I noticed I don't get as good as mileage around town but it's a lot cheaper.

That was the intended reaction. I did not expect to have anything special returned back to me, I was just curious to see if they would actually type out the letter. As a business major I fully understand that they would be stupid to go back on 30 years of engineering. We would have nascar.

I also enclosed in my letter that I have a business degree and am wanting to start a career with subaru. I had already submitted two applications but have yet to hear anything back from them.

You will be better just to buy an alternator for the EA81 found in the 84 hatch.

Get use to that. Radioshack shows they have it available in the store and never have it when you get there. I quit fooling with them years ago.

On the subject of injectors. Miles Fox once said that Evo 8 injectors will fit the EA82T.

The EZ30 motor uses a chain instead of a belt. They are suppose to last the life of the motor but if you ever have trouble, the timing chain cover is 59 bolts. That's about the only downside I can think of off the top of my head.

This is your perfect reason for running down to the auto parts store and getting another one. They are usually cheaper than paying for the flat bed tow home. I can't stress replacing alternators to people enough.

Those actually look to be R32, not R34. R34 is what was seen in 2 Fast 2 Furious.

It looks to have a Tennessee tag and we haven't used those since '94. I would be interested to know what part of state he is from.

This thought occurred to me as well when I was out in the Brat today. I interpret it as Subaru saying that they haven't forgotten their past and still embrace it. When I made it back to my old house, my grandma told me she just seen a Brat on TV, made me proud. I also thought of drawing out a graphical representation of this board on the internet. How our board is basically the small central hub to larger ones such as Nasioc, RS25, XT6 site, Legacy central, etc.

I did water pump on mine two weeks ago and seemed to help it for a while. I noticed today that my radiator is cracked and is draining a little bit down onto the ground and getting warm running around town. Got to replace it tomorrow with one out of my EA81 hatch. Hope that fixes it.

EA81 hatch on bottom left. Kinda inaccurate being that those jump seats won't be hanging around for long outside that Brat.
