  1. The issue that I am having with my radio is the display not coming on. Before it would come on after about 5 minutes, and now that I have been driving it on a regular basis it doesn't come on at all. Is this a get a new radio situation? Also my speakers for the drivers side do not work, both front and rear. Could it be grounded against the door causing both not to work? Thanks, Kyle
  2. Probably not. The tranny from a Legacy would not work in your Loyale without major modification. Even if it did, it would have been pointless without the EJ22 to go with it. You got a standard 3AT chief.
  3. I am waiting on buddy at the dealership to give me a call and I will be going to drive it as well. I don't see my dealer getting anything like a red or a blue, probably more like a white for silver but oh well. I too will post my thoughts about her as well.
  4. I believe it means you have a brake light out if it is illuminated while driving.
  5. IMHO you should swap an AWD tranny in with that EJ motor you plan to throw in that thing. I know, easier said than done. :-\
  6. 59 bolts secure the timing chain cover! Says in the endwrech article that the timing chain is suppose to last the life of the engine.
  7. DO NOT drive it locked in 4WD on pavement. We can't stress that enough.
  8. Intake manifold is not bad if you take your time and doing the appropriate steps. PB Blaster is your friend on the bolts. When getting replacement gaskets, I cannot stress to you the importance of buying dealer gaskets. I have a picture of where some idiot used the make your own gasket crap and what it looks like after a year or so of use.
  9. Yours has the standard paint chipping off the top like my 91 has. Good find dude, get that motor fixed and it will be right back on running forever. WRX wheels did numbers for the appearance of mine.
  10. My idea is that car manufactures do a timing belt change at 105K because it is outside of the car's engine warranty. Your timing belt breaks at 70K and ruins every valve in your motor and they *should* front you a new motor. But if its passed the warranty, they just say tough crap.
  11. Zepplinmrs-Hooked him up with a mirror to a BRAT Holistic-the guy I bought my BRAT off of. Subaru_Dude-Talk to him on a regular basis on phone Plan on meeting more.
  12. If I did it would be in my Legacy, my BRAT doesn't like speeds above 65. Gonna see how things are with me getting married a month from then. I would love to see Huck's EG33 swaped Alcyone. Kyle
  13. I had a seat of the pant issue when my Toyota threw the weight off one of the back wheels. Might give that a look.
  14. I did the same thing tonight on my Legacy. Ended up getting my punch stuck as well, broke it off and rotated the axle so I could knock the roll pin back through the other way and grabbed it with a pair of pliers.
  15. $26 is awesome, very lucky. What does the breather do?
  16. Im not too far to the west of there if anyone wants to stop and see my two BRATs.
  17. This is a perfect example of "Subaru Inflation". It will be relisted next week, even the salvage title throws a flag.
  18. Rolled over 217,000 yesterday in my 91 Legacy. 240,000 on my BRAT
  19. Ok I got ya. Thought it pertained mostly to a bandwidth issue. Thanks.
  20. Forgive me, for I am confused. He is hosting them in his photobucket account; then what is the issue? Please elaborate.
  21. You might want to check my other thread about the all Subaru junkyard. You will have even better luck there. I sent you the number anyway.
  22. I like the blue faced gauges. Other than that, its your standard Subaru interior.
  23. You completely illuminated that Festiva. That would be a great mod for my BRAT assuming they come like that. Throw some silverstars in there and go with it.
  24. Dealer should be able to get you a key made, just call and tell them the VIN number.
