  1. They were putting them out into the late 80s/earily 90s in Israel too. Tim
  2. Hey Dave, to answer your question, loaded is with the pads preinstalled. Makes a very nice install. Be sure to shop around, the last couple of times I've done calipers I got a very wide range of prices. Later, Tim
  3. What is this doing in "Non-Soob" land, that appears to be very much or should I say very little subaru???? Sounds like a blast:headbang: Later, Tim
  4. A. we drove the Outback B. I'll be putting together an 84 T-coupe for next year c. I'm not "allowed" the race the WRX
  5. You guys got Ace Hardware over there Tom?? They usually have a great selection of metric stuff. Might save some time and money there too. Later, Tim
  6. Unless they have been replaced, the U-joints won't take grease either.
  7. I understand what you are saying, but I think you are backwards. You would want to be turning counterclockwise (lefty loosey). So if you start at the 5 o clock and move back toward 12 it would loosen. Tim
  8. If worst comes to worst, just take it to a tyre shop and ask them to break it lose for you. most places won't even charge you for that. Tim
  9. This is the price.......... Shipping plus a reasonable amount (minimum $20) of money to donate to the board. Thanks, Tim
  10. Do you two know "BDG73"  . Later, Tim
  11. I can't be sure but I would assume a gen II. Tim
  12. You wont break anything, it is a soilid metal plug and the case can take it too. Id say you would break your 1/2" breaker before anything else. And hey, If you do break something I'm sure I have a spare or two laying around here  . Tim
  13. Hi all you Brat owners. I have a targa stripe that came with the Brat I got from Mick. It appears to be black or a very dark color. If you need/would like it please PM me. First come first served, Tim
  14. You need to either use a air wrench or put a breaker bar on the wrench. All you need is to break it lose, then it should come right out. Later, Tim
  15. Didn't get to spend to much time there, some one was cold. We did see a couple of Subbies but there was a huge variety of cars. I'm thinking this will be a fun time next year. Tim
  16. As I'm taking a break from doing the ball joints in my EA81 Hatch, I can tell you that you would not be able to put a grease serk on them. The tierod ends however probably could be done, but why??? Most of these things have 20 year old steering components that are just getting a little lose:clap:
  17. There is a kid at work who is running it in his 97ish outback. He said the computer must have "figured it out" cause it seems to run fine. I'd be interested in the fuel economy running that stuff. Tim
  18. I went on this quest last year for pulling our pop-up camper. I ended up getting a set of "grandpa mirrors", you know the kind that mount on the fender. They work okay, and the visability is alot better but they do need an occational adjustment after traveling. I think they might have been $30 for the set and I had to go through catalogs at the local custom truck parts place to find them. Later, tim
  19. Hey Glenn, Sorry about the hastle you had to go through, really sorry you missed this thread....... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=79882 These are sweet. Better luck next time, Tim
  20. It is also quite easy to make a puller..........
  21. Did you have the battery tested? I've had alts that go bad from a battery with a shorted cell and I've had batteries go bad from a fried alt. Just a thought, Tim
  22. You would be correct. GCK axles are NEW, but they are reengineered to a higher level of performance then OEM.
  23. There's a good chance that blowing the tyre saved the rest of your steering components. Like said above, you'll have to drive it to find out
