  1. Sorry, I can't give you a firm answer on fitament as I still have the 205/70/15s on my OB. I was at one point considering the same thing as you. Hopefully some one who has acctually installed that size tyre will speak up. Later, tim
  2. I just ran the two sizes through a tyre size calculator and it looks like the 75 is about .81" taller. Not much of a difference but it may give a fuller look in the wheel well. What tire are you going to go with?? I am going to get the Goodyear Assurance Triple Treads on our OBW some time this year. A 215/70/15 will give you a slightly larger tyre all around, side wall, width and over all height. Later, Tim
  3. I've decided on the Goodyear Assurance Triple treads for my 97 OBW. The reviews and rateings on Tire Rack were awesome and the next best one was a Michelan(sp?) Hydro Edge. Not cheap but with the variety of driving conditions here I wanted the best all around tyre I could get. Later, Tim
  4. Sorry I'm so late to join this thread, I had to go to Toledo OH to see one . I went in with the hopes that I would just be blown away by it, but unfortunately I wasn't. I did really like the interior including the seats. Other then that I'd have to agree with galyn on most of the other stuff. :( Tim
  5. Turn the seats upside down and clip all the "hog rings". The cover should just slip off after that. It might still be tight, just take your time and work them off. Tim
  6. Did you try putting it in 4wd??? If an axle stripped out it will just sit and spin. Just an idea, Tim
  7. I think if you check out ausubaru there are quite a few on there, they even have some vids that are very cool. Later, Tim
  8. I know it says movies, but there are a lot of TV ones too. Might want to add yours there.............. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=5769
  9. I think I'd have to agree with everyone else, but I'll add that after you do something 30 times it becomes a "habit". I was hooked after my third day :slobber:
  10. I guess the search function is just too hard to use:confused:. In that case you could just go back three pages to find the first four posts on this. Please, please please SEARCH
  11. Subbs are to pizza delivery as Checker was to cabs :headbang: Buddy dan uses them in CO for pizza delivery. Later, Tim
  12. You do need it in there, the Fuji Engineer who wanted it there had it put there for a reason. Normally I agree with most of what you say, but how can you tell some one not to use a seal you don't even remember being there??? Tim
  13. Get ahold of Emilly at CCR. She will either have one or know who to call to get one. Tim
  14. I had an excellent experience with these guys when I replaced the drive shaft in my 97 OB. It is a very easy job to do by the shade tree. $369 and that includes shipping HTH, Tim http://www.thrashdriveshaft.com/
  15. I did it so I could pull my bumper in and increase my departure angle. It actually runs to cool in the winter and just about right in the summer. Take a look at my pictures and you'll see why I did it. Later, Tim
  16. I think he means something like this........... However, this is still an EA81 radiator with the neck moved to the side
  17. I've done my part too. Link and pic!!!!
  18. This will probably get us thrown into Off Topic but my carry side arm is an AOC 1911. Probably not the greatest piece of craftsmenship but it will get the job done if needed
  19. Remember this too, those signs probably still belong to some type of government entity ie state, federal or local. Good chance you don't want to get caught with a "stolen" road sign. Later, Tim PS look for the thread on plastic skid pans too, I put in my .02 for heavy duty cutting boards.
  20. I don't even think you'd have to do to much modding. Of course you wouldn't finish in 30 hours either, just take your time and make the car last.
  21. Unfortunately that is a minute and 39 seconds of my life I will never get back
  22. I'm watching the 40th anniversery Baha 1000 on the telly right now. There are a lot of old bug out running that thing. I think a Subby could/should do it!!!! Race looks like a total blast . Later, Tim
  23. Here we go again..... AND Now I just sit back and wait for the "hero" of this drama.......... Come on Caleb!!!!!!!!
  24. There is no such thing as "sure prevention" when it comes to salt metal and rust. You might be able to slow it down a bit, but all it takes is a pin hole or a scratch and it is started. The only sure way to prevent rust is not drive it in the winter. My 92 S10 came from OK, has never seen a salted road and doesn't have a bit of rust. A lot to ask from that vintage of Chevy . Later, tim
  25. I'm in the salt belt too and my 84 T-coupe wont see winter roads either. As long as you have another vehicle avilable I say keep that one nice. Later, Tim
